Indistinguishably defeats the different troubles looked during that period of life. This short story clarifies the pride that Mother takes for being a 'Blackfoot'. The topic of the story is set to be misread/misidentified and is an incongruity indicating the contentions among personality and having a place love. The start of the story tells that it is uncommon for young ladies to leave the hold for reasons unknown, "She had not, as my Mother preferred… hadn't been pregnant" (131). It tells that little youngster generally leave on the off chance that they're after some kid, or on the off chance that they're pregnant.

Rarely for somebody to just leave, on the grounds that Letitia [She] got a new line of work. The story is about a Mother who needs to meet her little girl remaining in Salt Lake City in the U.S. The primary setting of the story is at the U.S. outskirt where Mother is addressed and is denied passage into the U.S. on account of not unveiling her citizenship. The Mother is viewed as the reason for clashes in "Fringes". She is an extremely difficult woman with a tight intuition worried about the things other than her local network.

She doesn't express that whether she is a Canadian or an American while battling to cross the fringe, thusly beginning a contention with the outskirt monitors. With various attempts by the outskirt monitors, the Mother has a single fixed solution for her character, i.e., "Blackfoot" (135). Mother is depicted as a hero. It isn't explicitly communicated in the story, yet the story drives further and clarifies that the Mother, needs to meet her little girl in the Salt Lake City in the U.S., heading to the U.S. outskirt, the Mother is asked on and on by the fringe monitors, yet she doesn't unveil her citizenship and rather reveals to them that she is a "Blackfoot" and her little girl in the U.

S is a "Blackfoot" too. The time, when getting some information about her citizenship, to one point, clarifies that Mother is obstinate and intense. The creator, in discussion with Stella, advises her, " 'We were Blackfoot and Canadian' " (137). Be that as it may, the creator isn't checked in light of the fact that he is a "Minor" (137). The creator is a kid who is inconsistent. Stella tells the creator that, if Mother doesn't unveil her citizenship, they should come back to where they originated from.

Mother, being obstinate and intense, will not uncover the citizenship and goes to the vehicle and drove back to the Canadian outskirt. Driving back to the Canadian outskirt, Mother is asked a similar route as the U.S. fringe. Mother says she's not an American or a Canadian but rather a "Blackfoot" (138). The Round character in this story is Mother since she is pleased with her local network. From those purposes of consideration. The initial three gatekeepers are from America, and none of them shows compassion or thought to Mother, yet the fourth one who is from Canada does.

A portion of the TV individuals was at the outskirt and conversed with Mother after which sooner or later late, Mother was permitted to enter the U.S. (143). Letitia accepts that Salt Lake City was "One of the normal miracles of the world" (139). Moms are an image of adoration, care, quality, and expectation. However, one doesn't have the foggiest idea about the consideration and love, what a Mother communicates. The Mother is faithful to her local network. She remained dedicated to the hold until the watchmen ultimately let her cross the outskirt. In the story "Outskirts" by Thomas King, pride is a quality that can be created in character, and its conviction is to secure the pride and offer fairness to each network.
