Transnational Poetics In a Transactional Poetics, there is a readjustment of the curricula of the English and even more. It makes investigation to the intersections that are within the poetries of United Kingdom, Africa, Caribbean, South Asia as well as the United States. This is done through the implication of what would be referred to as rejection of the belief of Ramazani and also a display of corrosiveness as a form of nationalism. (320 This nationalism is noted to cordon off the people as well as the cultures that is presented by different people, their religion as well as their literature.

Ramazani develops some convincing case for the critical part of the poetry. This, he does through the demonstration of cultural exchanges, which play part in presenting colonialism, global commerce as well as migration. The parataxis and the compactness of the poetry makes it easier to the imaginative ratification of geographical displacement (52) than other genres, especially those that always attempt to place the reader fall within certain locale. The book draws much of its strength from the fact that it points out the role of the poetry in creating some sense in globalization, and at times making efforts to resist globalization.

The arguments that Ramazani makes enhances and raises some stakes of literary scholarship, which involves the study of poetry and the necessary roles that it creates in untangling the compounded factors in the globalized society. Through the study of the postcolonial poet (108) and how for instance the adaptation of T.S Eliot modernism by Kamau Brathwaite works along in freeing Caribbean verses from the influence of the British, scholars would certainly come to the understanding of examples of the same kind of cultural hybridity.
