The Values of Satirical Graphic Novels in the Quality of Primary Education in the U.S In this research paper, the researcher intends to investigate the values and significance of satirical graphic novels to primary education in the U.S. The main aim is to validate the legitimacy and importance of satirical graphic novels to primary education in America. Recent research shows the adverse effects of satirical graphic novels in the American primary education. This research intends to support the motion that satirical graphic novels positively affect primary education.

History of graphic novel use in the U.SWithin the last few decades, the inclusion of graphic novels in the U.S has had an immense contribution to primary education (Schwartz 221). This has, however, led to some people concluding that it is the reason for eroding the reading culture within the states. People need to change this perception so as to ensure the continuous use of satirical graphic novels in education. The need to investigate the contribution of satirical graphic novels contribution to education is dire for educational quality.

Aspects of satirical graphic novel use in the educational system in the U.SSatirical graphic novels combine the aspects of explanations of text novels and pictures. Their wide application is to enhance the understanding of information by those who dislike reading and those that are slow in understanding. These novels are also beneficial in educating the community about key issues.Justification and significance of the studyThis study will bring into light the various contributions of the satirical graphic novels in primary education today.

It will discuss the manners in which the use of satirical graphic novels enhances the quality of primary education in the U.S. It will also discuss the various challenges it posses in comparison to its contributions, with the intent of proving the overwhelming significance of its input.Significance of satirical graphic novels in educationSatirical graphic novels contain a combination of pictures and words, a fact that makes them appealing to read. This way, they create a desire in someone to read some of the most uninteresting subjects.

This ensures that information duly passes on across even where it was once difficult.Again, satirical graphic novels enhance the capacity to understand a text. As such, it is simpler for a person to understand a text that has graphical illustrations than just plain, ordinary texts. This enhances and fastens the capacity rate of education (Katherine 57).Opinions on the implications of using satirical graphic novels in educationIt is of considerable judgment of some researchers that the use of satirical graphic novels in education is killing the reading culture in the U.S. They argue that such easy understanding of information is making people much lazier towards reading of texts, which makes them shy away from them (Brisco 87).

Recommendations of use of graphic novels in educationIn view of the two side arguments on the use or exclusion of graphic novels in the primary education system, I would recommend a merging of the two. This would mean the development of a new model that is inclusive of both graphics and texts at considerable depths. Consequently, the many advantages of graphics will remain in use as people will continue using them in primary grade learning.Proposed research designThis research investigates the contribution of satirical graphic novels to primary education.

There will be the use of secondary data sources in the obtaining of the information required. This includes review of previous research done on the subject matter or related subjects. A review through their data such as administered questionnaires at the time is also noteworthy. Media sources and formal remarks of teachers and individuals are also essential. Such sources give views of the different stake holders in the subject matter. Crucial deductions for this study are to be from comprehensive compilation and review of such sources.
