 Lady Macbeth: A Psychological Analysis Scene 1; “Unsex me” soliloquy In the classical Shakespearean play, Macbeth is among the most popular. Lady Macbeth proceeds to the sight of massacre to put the daggers and to spread the king’s servant who is asleep; this is to act as an evident that does not haunt her with the events of the night, which are termed as terrifying. It is an act that affects Macbeth when he realizes of the deadly act he just performed. The scene ends with a strident and continual knock at the door. Lady Macbeth opening remarks introduce a new level of expressive passion. The phobia of failure has been outdone by the fear of discovery. She describes herself as a drunk with boldness and on the heat of passion; she is easily alerted by her husband acts and movements. Lady Macbeth drastic changes of her mind and speech are an evident that her final struggle into madness is due; she keeps on repeating her speech (Shakespeare 61).
