The Death of Meriwether Lewis
It is the 26th of March 2015 on a Friday afternoon. The skies are clear with only blue clouds hovering over an afternoon sunlight. The temperature is relatively high at 67F. The sunshine is bright explaining the hot afternoon temperatures. The location is at 3700 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, in AZ Street, Parking Lot F.
The above location is identified as a scene of an armed robbery that involved a one hour drive car chase. A group of armed robbers had planned on the attack, with the target being an identified public service vehicle. The armed robbers were trailing the vehicle on a personal car that had presumptuously been stolen. Witnesses say that the driver of the public service vehicle noticed a suspicious car following them, and he decided to speed heading to the Willow Creek Road. The armed robbers maintained the chase and it is said that the driver ran out of options when he got to parking lot F, forcing him to resign. The armed robbers caught up with gunshots in the air to scare away any potential witness. They performed the robbery recklessly and left.
Witnesses alerted the Forensic experts with the Willow Safety Unit of the incidence. The Willow response team reported the forensic experts to the scene of the robbery in 3700 Willow Creek Road. Prescott, AZ 86301, Parking Lot F. (location shown in the slight, 0.11, 0.12 and 0.13). Members of the forensic unit began to arrive on the scene of the crime at 1338, led by forensic unit #12. Upon arrival at the scene of the crime, forensic unit #12 secured the perimeter walls to prevent any distortion of the evidence. The two people shot in the incident of the robbery were confirmed dead. Almost at the same time, Abigail Christensen(#010), Sterling Maynard (#050), Ahmed Alshamsi (#081), Rashed Alshamsi (#082) arrived. Accompanying them was Mohammed Alkaabi (#090), Fahad Shuhail (#100), and Arian Dragos (#125) enter the crime scene and help forensic unit #12 in securing the perimeter walls.
The crime scene was located downtown on Willow Creek Road (path 0.11). AZ 86301 at parking lot F. The forensic team had to access the scene from an aerial view, at the roof top (path 0.21) since human blood and evidence was scattered all over the entrance. An access from the roof top led the squad to parking lot G. Team only had to turn right to access parking lot F.
The first people to enter the crime scene were three members from the forensic squad #12. Upon entering the crime scene, they noticed one body on the front side of the parking lot near the gate (drawing 0.11). The body appeared to be that of an adult male, approximately in his mid-thirties. The male was well built and neatly dressed. One arm lay above the body as he seemed to be engaging in an argument, probably with the robbers. The team coordinator Abigail Christensen (#10) ordered the team to halt observation of the bodies before the photographer and other crew members arrived. Almost immediately, the forensic team was joined by Arian Dragos (#125) the photographer, Fahad Shuhai (#100) in charge of the search activities, Ahmed Alshamsi (#081) and Rasehd Alkaabi (#090) for measurement and sketch.
With the new squad, new observations on body 1 started with the new findings being recorded. (Drawing 0.11) Showed the exact location of the body. Photographs were taken for further observation. Body 1 appeared to have scars on the elbow and others on his face. The team observed slight bruises on the victim’s face and neck. Blood spots filled his forehead, an evidence of a physical struggle. His mouth was wide open as if he was going through some pain just before his death. He seemed to have fought a losing battle.
The second body, body 2, was found near the public vehicle (drawing 0.21). It was a body of an average teenager, at his nineteen. He was casually dressed in tight jeans and a t-shirt. The body lay in a pile of broken glasses, and the victim seemed to have succumbed to glass injuries. He had died due to excessive bleeding, observed from the pool of blood surrounding him. His clothes had already become wet with blood. Warm blood oozed from his neck, showing he had not died long ago. The victim had several glass bruises on his arm, legs, and upper body. Serious bruise spots were observed at the neck where most of the blood was flowing out from.
