The Law Research Assignment By Law of Lecturer: 5 January, As a self-motivated law this assignment would serve to broaden my skills. I have been humbled by the privilege of this task. To ensure smooth flow of ideas I have divided my assignment into several sections. One of them is Reflective Evaluation. Here, I will discuss the skills necessary for all higher education institutions that would enable students score good marks. The other section contains questions which must be answered. These questions will test my research skills. Reflective Evaluation is an important factor in any academic institution. It explains the significance of the skills required for students to acquire better results at higher learning. Information Technology has evolved in to a basic need to students at higher learning. It is; therefore advisable that students at higher education focus on computer literacy to meet global competition after graduation. Proper time management is a key determinant of a student’s success. Students must learn how to balance class work and the co-curriculum activities. In so doing, they will get good grades. Public speaking is another skill that every student must possess. Speaking before a huge audience is not easy. So one must be able to stand and address people with courage failure to which one becomes incompetent as a professional in the making. College students must use their experiences to help the other lower level students. They should engage in constructive arguments because the world out there has no place for people who can not reason. Lastly, students need to equip themselves with analytical skills as part of the package. This is the stepping stone to the acquisition of natural intelligence which will ferry them through their journey in life. As a law student, the above mentioned skills have helped me better my performance. I have filled my academic arsenal with research skills. This assignment is all about research and bears sufficient testimony. I can now manage my time effectively and do my assignments on time. When I compare the status of argument I had before, and now, there is an alarming improvement. My argument skills have gone up, and it look like my intelligence has also improved. However, there are a couple things I must improve. I am not up to it when it comes to public speaking. I am a bit timid in front of people, though I struggle to conceal this. Secondly, my typing speed is not at its best, and I will keep on trying to improve this. PART B I 1. Wolman V Islington Borough Council [2006] EWCA Civ 1060- B2/2006/0862 2.
