Officers are forced to stand for long hours in the sun while alert, lifting heavy poles and many other jobs that pressure their bodies to conform to particular posture and muscle requirements. The physical training of law enforcement officers prepares them for the physical need demanded in the future while underperforming their duties. Physical fitness is highly significant especially when pursuing a criminal who is run. The chance of the recruits surviving and going through the training successfully is very high in case they dedicate themselves to the tasks (Little &Turner Publishing, 2005).
