Peer Review The question at issue that this writing answers is whether art and has a relationship and if so, how can it be proven? 2. He believe that this question is important because of the way that photographs are often used to depict the status of social classes in the United States. Using “Migrant Mother” as a example, he presents evidence that art quite possibly opens the discussion of class during art viewings. 3. Believe it or not this writer truly persuaded me to see his point of view through the use of discussions based upon solid examples such as photographs and television shows that depict the situation he is presenting in his paper. 4. His supporting reasons come for various sources such as the depiction of the “Migrant Mother” and the representation of “The Simpsons” and “The Honeymooners” about middle class life5.

Yes, I do believe that his reasons were quite adequate for his chosen topic and it actually supports the claims he makes throughout the paper. 6. His discussion appeals to me because he started off his essay with an easy going discussion of how art is related to class and yet we never really knew it. 7. I for one intend to go out and see more art shows in order to discover what else I can learn about our society through other art forms such as photographs and paintings. 8. The author did well in discussing the way that photography is an art form that directly relates to class.

When he mentioned the composition of photographs, I reminded me that photographs do tend to seem to tell a story with a single, simple frame. 9. I believe that for the final draft, the author should work on lessening the repetitiveness of his discussion and present additional evidence for this claims, even if it has to come from outside sources. By doing so, he will be able to present a more coherent paper in the final presentation.
