Hence, at professional places, one has to demonstrate composure to resolve conflicts and not to create chaos. Mediators can reinforce the code of ethics, policies and appropriate demur expected from both parties. This will give them a chance to realize their apt/inapt participation in the conflict and they will recognize their mistake without being reminded. This action will save them from embarrassment and they will respect their mediator for not pointing figure

Listening respectfully and without interruption to one another is a crucial part of this mediation plan. After the aforementioned steps mediator can give a chance to both of the parties to describe their apprehensions, feeling, and other issues to avoid longer strife between them. However, it is crucial for the conflicting bodies to listen to each other with respect and without interruption.

Active listening will enable them to practice proactive communication and this step will ensure that they will communicate carefully and with respect for the next time. Both the parties will be provided with an opportunity to analyze each other’s situation with impartiality and they will be requested to produce the expected response of the other in such a challenging situation.  Eventually, both parties will be asked to produce their hypothesis of the mediation meeting and evaluation of their conducts and their hypotheses will demonstrate their reasoning skill. Both the parties will be requested to inscribe suggestions to resolve conflict and these suggestions will be recorded and reinforced in the staff meetings, so as to avoid such an occurrence again.
