The weather/temperature is on the right side of the title Chicago Tribune. There is significant advertisements in small hyper; links on left hand side. There is no space available on the left. The right side also has the paper’s own advertisements, with considerable white space available. The news pictures are smaller and dull. There is only a small space given to the top story. Many hyperlink headings are right in the middle of the page, many of them are without any additional description under them.
February 17, 2014
A wide rectangular image makes the top story. The top story column is a little more towards the left side than the center. The breaking news column takes central position. The right hand side column has windows, including a video. Despite so many news there is considerable white space on either sides of the webpage. For this reason the page has a long scrolling length to reach the bottom. There are many hyperlinks and news stories written one under the other. The temperature reading is written towards the left with the heading of Chicago tribune. The bottom list looks ordinary, there is no specific font management of display style.
The Huffington Post

The political news makes the headline. An almost square picture is atop the news details. The right hand side lists ‘Just in section’. Authors and columnists have their pictures and icons with stories and articles. There is a lot of white space. The whole page gives prominence to only three stories.
July 17, 2013
Political news makes the headline again on the cover ‘page’. But the picture is wider and more colorful, more like a magazine. Picture is more expressive and matches the news article in an emotional way. There are catchier advertisement titles and related pictures on the right hand side. There is a visible presence of social media buttons. The news articles show the number of comments posted underneath them as an indication of a hot topic.
July 15, 2004
The top stories have smaller pictures that are not even high definition. Very small text size and a lot of blank space on right side. The left hand side shows a blue column with hyperlinks to BBC’s subscription service. The whole website interface looks very compact. There is hardly any advertisements on the front page. The experience is as if the user/reader needs to find the relevant news and any other interesting thing on their own. Nothing is handed out to the user. The colors are dull and it looks more like an ordinary webpage created by a startup.
Jan 25, 2014
Effective use of multimedia is evident here. There is not one headline on the top, the pictures keep shuffling, making the news experience more vibrant. The headline color is blue. Interactive arrows are given on either side of the main story to move the image to next story. There is comparatively less text and bigger pictures. The right hand column lists automobile and technology stories with pictures.

State Machine

... Machine Introduction: machine is a device in which the output depends in some systematic way on variables other than the immediate inputs to the device. These other variables are called the state variables for the machine, and depend on the history of the machine. The behavior of a state machine can be completely described by a state table or equivalently by a state diagram. State machines can be used to specify the behaviors of objects in a system by describing the relationships between the states of the object and its ability to respond to events presented to it. Suitable choice of semantics for state machines allows multiple machines to be composed in the description of a single object. State diagram can be used to graphically... ...

Some of the techniques used in this test are user meetings, characters and scenes, construction map, outlining and high-fidelity mock-ups and testing, high fidelity model and far-flung usability testing. My role in the creation of this high fidelity prototype for my scenarios involved an internships effort that made me solely accountable for this project, alongside two mentor’s inventors and an experienced user manager. The machine is majorly prosperous in raising internal...

...Job Profile Exercise Affiliation: Jim was an employee who did not need a manager totell him what to do or seek motivation from others. He came to work earlier and worked even later ensuring everything was in order not to forget providing the best customer service I have ever seen. He was cheerful, polite even under pressure and was always willing to lend a hand no matter how tired or busy he was. The opposite was true for Joan who was not only lazy but complained about everything. She came to work late, took extended lunch breaks and was rude and needy. Recruitment and selection leads to interviewing the potential employees and getting to understand their abilities and skills. It also means that the employer will seek...

...Discrimination – Appearance and Smokers Appearance based discrimination Legally prohibiting ‘beauty’ based discrimination isprima facie difficult. However, while ‘lookism’ cannot be eliminated, it can be mitigated by the law (Rhode, 2010). “...workers deserve legal protection against appearance-based discrimination unless their looks are directly relevant for performance.” says Rhode (2010). The challenge then is to identify which jobs qualify for exceptions. No federal law protects against appearance based discrimination — and only a few communities, like Santa Cruz, Calif., have such laws in place — plaintiffs then must prove that the discrimination is based on other factors other than appearance. One can rely on violation... – Appearance...

... of Insert The term aspect and notion of cognitive linguistics in the simplest and most basic sense refers to the section or branch of linguistics which is concerned with the interpretation of notions or concepts. It is important to note and mention that concept could be conventional and universal in nature such that one thing has a homogenous meaning across the linguistics board. Therefore, it would be safe to assert and infer that cognitive linguistics draw a particularly skewed attention and focus to the line of reasoning of semantics (Evans & Green, 2006). A clear distinction is however notable from the branch of psycholinguistics. Cognitive linguistics assumes that the interactions of human beings are mediated by the mental... of Insert...

Machine-to-Machine Communication

...Machine-to-Machine Communication Disruptive technology is basically a replacement of an old technology by an innovation that creates new market value for products or services. Adoption of disruptive technology can be either risky or profitable venture. By using a technology in its early stage can enable one to establish new markets but can also become vulnerable to unforeseen risks. The key lies in choosing the correct time to enter the market (Evans, 10). Disruptive technology can change the structure of an industry by replacing traditional values with new values. It can encourage corporate planners to embark in new avenues for their organizations (Evans, 8). RFID One example of disruptive technology...
