The author, David Harvey, narrates the political-economic story of neoliberization and its spread to the global stage. Moreover, the author advances the notion that neoliberal thought was propagated by political ideals of individual freedom and human dignity as core civilization values. In addition, Harvey reveals that such ideals are indeed seductive and compelling.
