Music Review of Thriller (Michael Jackson):
Thriller is a masterpiece album composed and launched by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Thriller is another pop album produced by the King of Pop which will always be remembered for years. Michael Jackson proved his excellent command over pop music and beautiful compositions that helped him turned into a music legend. In short we can say that, Thriller is one of the best albums which gave a sudden boost to MJ’s musical career.
As soon as Thriller was released, this magnificent album broke all the records of popularity and stayed on musical charts for about 80 weeks (Erlewine). Thriller has proved itself as one of the “most in-demand musical album” all round the world. Thriller holds different flavors of different genres; it contains songs from R&B to Rock and from Pop to Funk. In Thriller, the music of MJ clearly shows the influence of George Clinton and James Brown but, at different places Michael Jackson has successfully took out his talent power in his album. His catchy voice, appealing music and soothing lyrics are enough to hold the attention of the audience for a long time.
The album has some remarkable catchy numbers on the list. “The Girl is mine” is a memorable single off by Michael Jackson with Paul McCartney. However, the track failed to impress the audience. Three singles; Thriller, Billie Jean and Beat it are the best songs by MJ in the entire album. These singles made the album gain more popularity. However, Michael Jackson has failed to produce a number of hit songs in this album but, the presence of these three singles made the album turned into a super hit record. Other songs such as The Lady in My life and Human nature are also good tracks. Michael Jackson has showed all his efforts in making this album a memorable one that still keeps the legacy of MJ alive in his songs.

...?Analytical Reviews Part One. Manning starts from the observation that from earliest times people have sought to keep alive the memory of times past, either by oral means through stories and poems, recited at special events, or after the invention of writing, and later printing, with the production of written records. He observes that when we look back over historical writings from around the world we can see that they are all similar in the way that they approach the task but that there are also many differences. Each historian writes from a particular cultural perspective, and aims to meet the expectations of a particular audience. These factors mean that most history is skewed towards certain dominant themes and ideas,...

...?Analytical Reviews; Part One: International Politics and World History. How to international politics matter? Paul M. Kennedy’s book The Rise and Fall of the Great Powers covers the whole world from about 1500 until the mid-1980s. In roughly chronological order he recounts the achievements of each major world power as it arises out of its particular context and attains prominence. There are eight chapters divided into three main themes sections and it is interesting that he repeats the title “strategy and economics” in each of the three section headings. This is a somewhat misleading hint, because in fact what his analysis shows is that very often the great powers lack strategy, and seem to be on a pre-determined curve...

...?Analytical Reviews. Part The emergence of a world history. Arnold J. Toynbee (1889-1975) was a respected British academic and historian who attempted what very few have managed in one lifetime: he wrote a monumental work of history, covering a truly global span and reaching back to the beginnings of recorded human history. Its modest title A Study of History belies its huge ambition. Toynbee devoted most of his working life to this task and in the end it amounted to 12 large volumes published between 1934 and 1961. The structure that Toynbee chooses for his analysis is that of the civilization, and he makes a clear distinction between this and smaller societies which do not develop to the size and complexity of a...
