1. In your network, which communications would be best served by TCP and which by UDP? TCP can be used for the purpose of delivering messages, splitting messages into datagrams and using checksums for detecting errors in the prevailing network. More so, UDP usually retransmits messages in case an error occurs hence procedures adopting this form of network are idempotent. In addition, the server using UDp fit client messages completely with a packet that in turn handles multiple clients terming UDP as a stateless form of communication.2. What TCP/IP services and utilities do you currently implement in your organization?

What TCP/IP services and utilities not currently implemented would your organization benefit from? TCP/IP is actually a suite of protocols that each performs some function to allow computers to communicate with each other.  Most vendors implementations have quite a few utility built-in. The utilities might relate to configuration information and troubleshooting.  Some of the TCP/IP utilities implemented in my organization include, arp, nslookup, finger, ping, ftp, rcp, hostname, rexec, ipconfig and route.

More so, I am currently implementing TCP/IP services that include; net start dhcp client, net start simple tcp/ip services, net start ftp server and net start snmp. TCP/IP services and utilities not currently implemented include; lpq, rsh, lpr, tftp, nbtstat, tracert, and netstat forms of TCP/IP services and net start lpdsvc, net start tcp/ip netbios helper, net start Microsoft dhcp server and net start windows internet name service forms of TCP/IP utilities.  3. Explain the difference between the TCP/IP and the OSI models.

How are they different and how are they alike? In the OSI model, the protocols came after the model was described while in TCP/TP model, the protocols came first, and the model (Zack, 2010).4. Envision an organization that is currently using IPv4. In addition to the benefits of transferring to IPv6, explain the procedures necessary to make this transfer Migrating from IPv4 to IPv6 is not an immediate process and requires gradual implementation due to the endless number of users on the Internet that still utilize the IPv4 system.

For the above-described reasons, the migration from IPv4 to IPv6 is not accomplished with a simple flick of a switch since there are problems that arise as the result of making the change.
