The choice of an appropriate vendor is dependent on the needs and requirements of an organization. It is also essential to consider the future needs of business before deciding on what system is suitable for an ERP. SAP and ORACLE are the most popular vendors of the ERPs as they are also widely used by large corporations in the world. Scalability and flexibility are the main attributes that can be offered by the top ERP vendors. The two main vendors are known for their service delivery that is also associated with robustness and ability to handle complex business requirements. It is notable that there are no two ERP vendors that are the same in the services they offer. The differences are noticed in their product executions based on the functionalities of their products. The applications may be similar in a number of factors that also display negligible exceptions in their developments. Most of the software applications are used to support different tasks as per the requirements of and objectives for which the application was designed. It is essential for the software vendors to establish the benefits of taking care of the business needs of the small and midsized companies. Oracle offers different modules from SAPs that are distinctive in terms of the needs and requirements of the applications being developed. This is seen in the ERP frameworks that the two vendors have to offer because the clients they deal with choose products that suit their business needs. Some of the common needs that companies grapple with include financial management, distribution management, and Personnel management. It is the duty of the vendors to narrow down on specific needs to offer the best services. It is essential for prospective clients to contact vendor before they can start developing solutions. Supply chain management software is essential for companies to have an advantage in the management of its supplies. They are meant to transform the usual supply chains into systems that are meant to bring substantial value to the company’s businesses. They provide an appropriate platform for the transformation of the company’s businesses there by changing the fortunes of the company. The systems bring about flexibility and reliability of company’s operations, which is likely to translate to increased profitability. Supply chain management systems ensure that organizations are able to scale up their operations because of the flexibility brought about by the new systems. These systems are used by warehouses, large supermarket chains, ports, five star hotels and government supply departments. The systems provide supply management staff with the overall cross sectional view of a vast supply chain system. Some of the decisions made by the management officials include the volumes of supplies to be made and inputted into the system. Decisions involving how to manage the inputs and outputs of the system is essential for proper management of the system. The role of managers in the implementation of the system involves decision making concerning access to the right data at the instance it is required. Having the correct data at the right time is essential for managers to make informed decisions in the implementation of the system. Managers also make decisions concerning the pricing of their products. Executives are also tasked with the responsibility of developing strategies that can their companies into the future of decision making in business. The executives also need to establish how to protect brands and prices of essential products. It is also essential to establish whether the operational plans of organizations are aligned to financial goals of the company. Fine and course data refers to the inputs and out puts required by the organization. Course data is that which has not been processed while fine data is the result of processed course data. The data is associated with the planning of the system. The demand plan of the system need to ensure that profits are maximized. This means that the system needs to respond to abrupt market changes that are also cost effective. As a result, there is a need for the system to ensure that the organization gets the best returns for their investments. This is a technology that has been developed to enable organizations meet prevailing market demands. This is essential in meeting the demands of the increasing Information systems industry. As a result, this is expected to have a substantial impact on the cost, competitiveness, productivity and efficiency of the organization. This service is suitable for different levels of organizations including small sized enterprises. It is essential for managers to align the performance of their organizations based on a number of factors. Some of the factors include the need to establish the impact of mobile technology to organizations. This is based on the relevance and scenarios under which the system is developed. SAP’s project development strategies are based on the implementation and preparation of the development process. A clearly designed based on the business needs of organizations. It is essential for the organization to initiate a training program for their employees once they have acquired a working system. This would be significant in accelerating user adoption of the system and maximizing the productivity of the employees.
