Ideal training programs are expected to, Help the employees with the institutionalization of quality training programs through exposure to the latest developments and studies. After the venue has been decided by the top management as per their financial suitability, some important tasks need to be carried out.

Tasks to be Accomplished Before Off-site TrainingIdentify the areas of employee performance that need training through training need assessment: Designed systematic analyses are needed to identify and target the gaps in the employees’ skill set for training progression. After a clear picture of why and where training is needed, the training activity gets a direction for the plan. The most commonly used tools for gap analysis are questionnaires, group discussions, or direct question-answer sessions.

Settle the goals and objectives of training: After the gaps have been analyzed and the training course gets a direction, the expert practitioners of the organization should settle the goals and objectives for the training program. Decide upon a training title and the sub-contents: Once the training objectives have been worked out, it gets easier to decide upon the main topic that can add a good impression to the organization’s literature history. The topic can be further broken down by the chief trainer and other experts about it would be imparted what parts would be covered on the first day and what parts would be covered on the second day.

Work on the preparation of a training design: After the sub-contents have been prepared, the trainer needs to see how the training will be done. He needs to decide upon the tool that would be used, for instance, a PC, projector, etc., and work on the infrastructure management for the project. The contents of the training session have to be settled according to the available time frame (Upadhyay, 2012). The methodologies for instance, group discussion-oriented training, role-playing, case study or any other type have to be selected based on their suitability concerning the contents and the knowledge and interest level of the target group.

The most important aspect is breaking down the methodologies between day 01 and day 02. Develop training module: The module should have a session distributed planning how to carry out the training program. The trainer should discuss the module with other fellow members of the same intellect level for a better understanding of how to carry on with the planning. Organize the training process: Make a timetable for the training module that would include the following Training Time Table Day 01 Day 02Starting TimeStarting TimeContents To be DiscussedContents To be DiscussedTime to be allocated per ModuleTime to be allocated per ModuleTools to be Used: Tools to be Used: Lunch BreakLunch BreakQuestions SessionQuestions Session Task AssignmentActivity Concerned PersonLightingTechnical MaintenanceHall in charge food In chargeDiscipline OfficerHelp Desk In Charge.
