Demographics of Survey Participants
Data was collected online via Skype and a total of eight people took part in the study. Respondents were asked to give their feedback regarding websites sharing photos.
All participation was optional and the results were processed and stored anonymously.
The age distribution of the research participants ranged from 18 years old to above 30 years old with the majority of the respondents (50%) being aged above 30 years. Second, in the list were those aged 21-25 years old at 25% while the respondents aged 18-20 and 26-30 years old were represented at 13% each.

Analysis of Data
The collected data was cleaned, coded, and analyzed using SPSS version 17 to determine any general trends, and if there were any differences depending on the demographics of the participants.
Websites visited
Despite five websites i.e. Flickr, Imgur, Instagram, Pinterest, and Deviant Art being of interest in the study, it was observed that the only commonly used site is Flickr. 75% of the respondents admitted to using Flickr while 25% of the respondents did not respond to the question.

Frequency of using photo-sharing websites
It seems the respondents have little time to visit photo-sharing websites. The majority of the respondents interviewed (75%), said to be using the photo sharing websites occasionally, 12.5% used photo sharing frequently while 12.5% admitted to not using the photo sharing websites.

Advantages of using photo-sharing websites
Ease of access and sharing came out as the greatest advantages of using photo-sharing websites. 29% of the respondents agreed that photo-sharing websites are advantageous in the sense that they are both easy to access and easy to use for sharing photos. An equal number of participants (14%) mentioned the availability of space, confidentiality, and quality of photos as some of the advantages of using photo-sharing websites.

Inconvenience
Hacking of photos and insecurity from downloads are the most (at 50% each) possible inconveniences that photo sharing could cause this is according to the respondents interviewed.

Opinion on efficiency
Regarding efficiency, the majority of the respondents (67%) would rate the efficiency of the photo-sharing websites as satisfactory while 33% feel that they are efficient.

Conclusions
Website photo sharing is of paramount importance however a few checkups need to be rectified for the trust among the users to be increased. Currently, people view it as being insecure, it will be very important if security and privacy are improved to allow people to interact more proactively with the websites. Read More
