The role of ethics in technical communication: Technical communication is of ive nature and can have an opinion attached to it. However, the ethical aspect must be taken into account, while performing the task of technical communication.There are different dimensions of technical communication. The ease of access and the level of understanding are among the most important. A generally acceptable and compatible form of documentation is needed in communication across the enterprises. The communication performed in such a way should fulfill the requirements of the readers and should fit the level of comprehension of the common readers without the major need of any special skills.

Data contained in the report should not be misleading in any way. Figure fudging, picture editing and other temperaments of data are few examples which entail in the ethical domain of technical report writing and communication. While writing any report, any promotional letter, the ethical and moral aspect must be taken into account and should not be alluring for the customers and should not hide reality. This case is of high importance in medical related communication and reports preparing.The piece of technical material should have the necessary recipe that addresses all the aspects that are essential for making an effective technical report and technical communication.

Content Management software (C.M.S.) can be used in this regard to evaluate the progress and relevance of the reports. It enables multiple workers and units to work in group and have their work coordinated.The ethical domain can be addressed by working professionally over the report and technical communication.
