Intel and AMD Processors Introduction In this essay I will present the detailed analysis of the Intel and AMD processors. The main aim of this research is to present the performance analysis based on the Intel and AMD processor product lines. Here I will select four different PCs those are basically used and designed for the home users. This analytical study will reflect the basic comparison and discretion of the processors features. These features can be performance, power usage, reliability, longevity etc. PC 1 Dell XPS 625 Desktop Here the first computer I have selected is manufactured by the Dell. The name of the system is Dell XPS 625 Desktop Computer. This PC contains the processor developed by AMD. This processor is AMD Phenom X4 940. Other specification of the system is its 500GB hard disk and 6GB of the RAM (Dell MT2, 2009). Here we have an optional facility of the Radeon HD 2400 Pro in its place of a GeForce 8800GTX. A Creative X-Fi supplies sound, gigabit Ethernet is onboard, and eight available USB ports make sure that you will never go wanting on the accessories side. This system has an Integrated Sound BlasterAudigy. There are also 8 USB ports. On the Windows XP we have better performance and additional functionalities. The overall analysis has tried to access the main processor performance for the better processor performance.  The Dell XPS 625 Desktop is best among all the systems. This system has an AMD Phenom X4 940 processor that is a quad core processor.
