? Digital World Picture relating to the assignment own Digital World Introduction During the ancient times, the term digital referred to as the use of terms and numbers emanating from the digit or finger (Gere, P-7). But over the recent times, the term digital means more than just digits. The term has recently been used to refer to computers and to electronic technology used to process and store data in both positive and non-positive state (Gere, P-7). There are several contributors of digital world among them include; Steve Jobs and even academicians such as Sherry Turkle (Tapscott, Don, Alex and David.167-175). Turkle used the Rorschach metaphor to show the relationship between people and machines, he asserted that computers are just projective screen for other actions such as a mirror of mind as well as self (Tapscott, Don, Alex and David, 167-175). Over the recent times Rorschach metaphor has turn out to be less popular due to its limited applications (Tapscott, Don, Alex and David, 167-175).Recently a lot of creativity and innovations have been ongoing making the digital technology more dynamic. Just like human beings, some objects such as computer robots have been put in place, those objects tend to work just like human being with minimum human supervision (Tapscott, Don, Alex, and David, 167-175). Researchers predict that, the future technological innovation will encompass computation technology that will not only have a feelings love but also humor (Tapscott, Don, Alex and David, 167-175). Therefore, the most important thing is to understand the relationship between people and Artifacts during this digital period. This is because the emergence of new objects will have a significant impact to human life. Therefore, it is important to understand how people are going to relate with new computational technology objects (Tapscott, Don, Alex, and David, 167-175). The study has further explored Staves Jobs contribution in the digital world. In above connection, the study has provided a sharp insight of how life was before and after face book. Sherry Turkle describes an encounter with Chatroulette. What do you think? Is this typical today’s digitech culture and how do you see the development in the near future? The dynamism in digital culture has been at an increase over the recent times .There has been a lot of innovations in the information technology industry making the world a global village (Gere, P-8). This is because people can now interact and conduct there business online without necessarily presenting themselves physically into a particular region to carry out business transactions (Gere, P-8). With today’s innovation and creativity in the digital world, business activities have increased substantially (Gere, P-8). This is because buyer and sellers can trade virtually without necessary meeting into particular geographical region (Gere, P-8). Corporate can market there business activities online through e-marketing blogs technology (Thumim, P-13). Research evidence indicates that E-marketing has increased sales and profitability of numerous companies unlike before (Gere, P-8). On the other hand E-learning has also been improved through digital technology (Thumim, P-13). Students can learn virtually without even attending classes (Thumim, P-13). This has made learning more effective and efficient than the way it was used to be during the ancient times (Sherry, Para-14). This transition shows that digital culture has created opportunities and possibilities that were not there before (Sherry, Para-14). Additionally, today’s digital culture has changed cultural relations (Sherry, Para-14). This is because increase in global connectivity has led to a paradigm shift in tradition digital culture making people ways of thinking to change as well (Sherry, Para-14). Some experts like Sherry Turckle assert that dynamism in digital culture has been brought out by integration of intercultural communication as well as increase diversity and trend analysis of in telecommunication industry (Sherry, P-14). Sherry asserted that because of increase diversity and paradigm shift among our young people on matters concerning digital culture it is important to document their experience (Sherry, P-14) Researchers predict that there will be immense changes in the future in digital culture (Thumim, P-82). The prediction is substantiated by current trends in information communication technology. There are enough research evidenced based on facts that in the future the whole world will be connected even those nations which are not fully connected(Hand, P-182). There has been a lot of innovation and creativity witnessed from in the computer models available in the market raging from desk tops to laptops (Hand, P-182). It is predicted that there will be even more new models in the future. This is a good indication that there will be a continuous future dynamism in the digital culture (Hand, P-182). The dynamism is predicted to escalate due to escalating cases of computer literacy among young people who are believed to posses creative and innovative minds (Thumim, P-82). Young people are said to be vigilant explorers and therefore, future generation will have a different digital culture from the one that is currently available (Hand, P-182). However, despite having a lot of benefits, the future digital cultures have some disadvantages (Hand, P-182). Some of the disadvantages include; many young people will become computer zombies especially young; people will lose there cultural connections as they try to cope with dynamism of digital culture (Clauss-Ehlers, P-979). Additionally, unemployment cases will increase substantially due to an increase in automation (Marching, Jane and Andrea, P-12). This is because many firms will find it economic effective to use capital intensive rather than labor intensive methods of production in order to minimize production cast and increase their profitability (Marching, Jane and Andrea, P-12). Steve Jobs is being celebrated as a creator of today’s digital world such as Apple with devices such as iPod,imac, iphone, itunes,iPad to name just but a few. How did he do it and how you could have done it? Steve Jobs are one of the creative and innovative digital minds that have made significantly contributions in digital world (I Phone, P-441). His journey of success begins when he resigned from Apple after the company performed poorly under his leadership (Wright, P-435). He resigned from Apple and used the proceeds that he obtained from the sales of his shares to launch another computer company which helped him to have a break through in the computer industry (I Phone, P-441). However, he experienced come challenges for example; during the early period of investment, computers that he used to sell did not attract many consumers because of their expensive prices (I Phone, P-441). Later Steve jobs modified his Pixar animation studio and came up with the most effective and efficient computer with high speed. This made him to gain about 80 percent of share in the stock market. By the end of 1997, Apple company announced a loss of seven hundred and eight dollars; making Mr. Amelio the chief executives officer to resign (Lu?sted, PP-22-88). Following his resignation, Steve Jobs was reappointed as the new chief executive officer of Apple (Lu?sted, PP-22-88). After his reappointment, Steve Jobs signed several deals with micro soft which revived the performance of Apple Company (Lu?sted, PP-22-88). Additionally, Steve Jobs installed a three G power microprocessor to all the Apple computer making computers to become very fast in executing their operations (Imbimbo, PP-55-73). In above connection, Steve contributes significantly in developing a line for desk top called imac (Imbimbo, PP-55-73). The above activities revived the profitability of Apple Company making Steve jobs to emerge as one of the most successful chief executive Officer in Apple Company (Imbimbo, PP-55-73). If I was Steve Jobs I could have resigned after seeing that the company is making losses instead I could have added more features to Apple products in order to attract new customers and retain existing ones. This is because it took a lot of time and energy for Steve jobs to make Apple company a success and therefore, I could not have resigned from the position but rather I could have tried to make the company products more appealing to customers by adding more features. On the other hand, I can support Steve Jobs resignation because it provided him with an opportunity to think and to become more creative and innovative in coming up with iPod, iphones, itunes and ipad (Imbimbo, PP-55-73). How was my digital life before and after face book? Digital life before face book is commonly referred to as analog days; measuring organization digital landscape was done within a single web page (Howard, P-256). During these periods the tools which were applied to track and report website were not complicated (Howard, P-256). During this period the data used to came from the same source and therefore, it was easier to track information about the digital world (Howard, P-256). Additionally, tracing specific information one was suppose to follow some links which the system directed the user to follow in order to obtain particular information (Howard, P-256). Campaigns on face book and other social media such as twitter and Skype were quit ineffective (Howard, P-256). This is because many people were not in face book therefore; those politicians who relied heavily on social media could not communicate their political campaign messages effectively (Howard, P-256). For example in 1992, a Politician called Jerry Brown who was campaigning for Democratic nomination for President tried to use internet to send some political message to the audience (Springer, Jerry and Laura,PP-10-256). He was quit ineffective sending his message because many people were not fully conversant with face book (Springer, Jerry and Laura, PP-10-256). But over the recent times (after face book), social media such as twitter and face book have turn out to be very effective blogs for carrying out campaigns as well as networking(Springer, Jerry and Laura,PP-10-256). Life after face book has become has become more complicated than before. This is because a lot of innovations and creativity has been put in place (Kember, Sarah and Joanna, P-156). Tracking digital world has become very complicated because digital impact requires adequate assessment of multiple sources of information. Life after face book has continuously changed the current human behavior (Kember, Sarah and Joanna, P-156). People can now be able to track events online at ease. This is because no strategies are required one is suppose to keep following what other people are posting on face book and other social sites such as twitter and Skype to name just but a few(Kember, Sarah and Joanna, P-156). Additionally, life after face book has enabled people from different parts of the world to network and to transact business (Kember, Sarah and Joanna, P-156). Life after face book has promoted relationships, as people interact and get to know each other better; this has even led to marriage among people in different geographical locations (Kember, Sarah and Joanna, P-156). Conclusion Based on the above discussion it can be scrutinized that the present digital culture has been experiencing dynamism due to innovation and creativity. A lot of computer models ranging from desk tops to laptops have been developed making the world a global village. People can interact virtually and carry out business transaction more efficiently unlike before. Learning has been made easier than before because students can access learning materials online. Sherry Turckle asserted that due to increase paradigm shift in digital culture among young people it is vital to document their experience. This is because the future digital culture is anticipated to experience dynamism and therefore, it is important to document their experience for future reference. The study has put forth the innovation and creativity of Steve Jobs in the digital world and how I could have done if I was Steve Jobs. Conclusively, the study has further explored the way of life after and before face book. It can be scrutinized that a lot of changes have been witnessed as people goes through a transition from analog life to digital life. Works Cited Clauss-Ehlers, Caroline S.
