It is paramount to understand, manage and maintain highly diverse values in the school operation so as to the issues of ethics highly accessible and understandable for all. Much of contemporary literature concerning information management ethics is not directed toward the actual benefits of managers and leaders of the school institution (the people who are primarily responsible ethic management in the school community), but it is a domain for all parties involved both managers and students. Lack of primary information is not the mistake of the academics, social critics or philosophers, (Bynum and Rogerson). Every school environment critically contributes to the information system of the school and the general shaping of the ethical values of both the student and teachers before joining the labour market. Effectiveness of ethics and its contribution help in shaping the moral values of the school community. Ethics deal with the people’s moral actions. Mainly school ethics apply to teachers, students, the school board and administrators. In each case, a conduct of conduct is established form within the school institution, via the professional, organization. This code of ethics provides ethical standards that regulate the behavior of the people associated with and how they are supposed to relate with others in the decision-making process and working. It also helps in management of the information system of school. Ethical codes outline the outcomes for the parties that do not follow the school ethic policies concerning the handling of the school vital information, examinations, school records and other relevant information. The ethics are designed to develop an atmosphere of honesty, exemplary citizenship and trust in relation to students the ethics are based on student showing respect for the administrators, teachers, parents, school non-teaching staff and other students. In addition, the ethics require that students should respect the program of the school, facilities and the school information, as well. Ethics guard about plagiarism among the students, they are required by law to submit for marking their own unique work and be ready to face the consequences and punishment such as expulsion, suspension or other related administrative actions if they plagiarize their work. Administrators and teachers are ethically guided through the institutional and professional, ethical codes. The law demands them to establish a learning atmosphere that promotes high ethical standards for learners through instruction and modeling. In addition, the administrators and teachers must provide a safe learning condition where all students have equal educational opportunities and are able to attain success. Building trust I critical aspects to such interactions, as it safeguards and maintains the confidentiality of the people/ parties involved. Administrators and teachers are also ethically responsible to keep their professional training and to themselves as school representatives in an ethical manner. Board members of the school are required to design school ethics that are geared towards the operation of the school IC, state, local and federal laws that govern education. The ethics of board member typically mandate that school or education based decisions, cannot be implemented based on personal or political and that personal interest cannot be a factor in determining the school operations. School ICT ethics dictates on how to handle online students’ examination, grades, marks, assessments, booking classroom facilities, human resources services, provide statistics reports, handle inquiries and deliver information to prospective students. Ethics places some measures of dealing with dishonesty with school information management systems. For example, publication of incorrect examination scores to reflect it’s above average standing. Alternatively, in some cases changing answer in tests which is an ethic violation act. Ethics and education are equally fundamental because they enable the student to learn education basics while at school and differentiate the right from the wrong. Teachers are supposed to model the ethical ICT use for their students, and ensure that students access the right and useful information that are free of plagiarism and copyright from the ICT sites. They also should ensure that students and other school parties that violate ethical standards are punished. For instance, when students plagiarize another person’s work in a bid to meet the requirements of a certain course work or cheat in the examination, are behaving in an unethical manner and should be given failing marks or grades. We are currently living in the era of information characterized by an era where economic activities and other activities as well are based on information. This is because of development, advancement and use of technology in information system management. The salient characteristics school informatics in this age can be outlined as increase in the number of knowledge teachers, students and workers, an increasingly more open world, in communication sense (global village) as well as internationalization (data flow through trans-border). Such paradigm changes have created more new juridical and ethical challenges, which are associated with issues like the right freedom of information access and management, the privacy rights which is infringed by the emphasizes on the free information flow and the preservation of the economic gains of the intellectual property owners. The ethical concerns control the privacy rights of the students and the school information in general, which is most cases infringed by the use of technology (ICT based). For example, publication and access of the student examination results, financial statements and records of the school, research results and dissertation by students and teachers as well as other related student and school information that is held confidential. There are other ethical guidelines that protect professional information of the school. These include the trainer’s value of dignity and worth of all people, devotion to, the pursuit of truth, development of democratic citizenship and acquisition of knowledge. Fundamental to the attainment of such standards is the inherent right and freedom to teach and learn and certification of equal opportunity for everyone. Ethical use of information management systems and equipment’s has no clear-cut difference from the essential principles that shape Christianity. Teachers and lectures use copyright free tools and materials to provide education instructions. Their use should not be for commercial purposes, and they should avoid publication of copyright materials for course work teaching and giving instructions to students. They should protect school information from cybercrime, duplication by other school databases, and associated fraud that may cause ethical problems and interference with school websites and databases leading to lose of valuable information for the school. They should document and authorize the use of risk assessments and implement measure to protect access to their web information, internet databases and sources and downloading of unauthorized school information. Creation of security measures like security codes and passwords ensure that all the information system and database of the school are well safeguarded. References Bynum, T. W., and Rogerson, S.
