This will help to bring a change in the attitude and create the required motivation through which use of resources will improve. 2.0 Aim The report will thereby look towards achieving the following aims Analyze the workplace situation which is faced by Middleton Police Station by analyzing the problems which is faced by the station, find out the required outcome, the response to be implemented and assessing the response so that better efficiency and effectiveness will be achieved Using the SARA model to evaluate the situation so that every angel can be examined and an overall perspective can be achieved through which the corrective response can be achieved Use the different leadership and management theories so that the present situation of Middleton Police Station can be achieved so that better mechanism can be achieved and the use of resources will help to achieve efficiency and garner better positive response 3.0 Body This aspect will look at evaluating the entire workplace situation; provide an analysis of the problem, finding out the desired outcome, the response which will be achieved, justification of the response and assessment of the response. 3.1 Workplace Scan The workplace highlights one where the working style has changed and presents different roles and responsibilities which need to be carried out. The different issues surrounding the workplace has to be addressed quickly and ways has to be developed which will improve the overall productivity and will provide the required momentum through which the different responsibilities will be carried out in the most effective manner. The same has to be planned in a manner where the different resources are used in the best possible way. 3.2 Analysis of Problem The different aspect and working style which is presently witnessed in the workplace highlights different issues which have to be addressed and dealt with. This will help to improve the manner in which different responsibilities are carried out and will help to improve the overall relevance of carrying out activities. Some of the problems highlighted are as Firstly, the present workplace is witnessing continuous absenteeism and people refraining from work due to sickness. This has impacted the supervisory styles and the mechanism through which the sergeants and others worked as the workplace has resulted in the development of their own agenda and working according to it. Continuous absenteeism on the part of the sergeant has provided others with an opportunity to act in a similar fashion and will require a complete transformation so that the business process gains efficiency. Secondly, being promoted to new place will bring a change in colleagues with whom he has to work and will require different roles and responsibilities to be carried out. This is in addition to the fact that certain people who haven’t being promoted with act as antagonist and is an issue which needs to be addressed so that the working style gains the required momentum and is able to bring the required transformation so that better results can be achieved. This desired outcome which needs to be achieved considering the situation which is being highlighted is as Firstly, reducing the present workplace absenteeism as people are refraining from work due to sickness.
