I need to understand the four personality types that include playful, powerful, precise, and peaceful. I also need to understand the needs of each of the four personality types. For instance, playful want approval, attention, and fondness. Peaceful want harmony, respect, and value between individuals. Premises exhibit high levels of sensitivity. As a result, they need quiet environments and space to work alone. Moreover, powerful want appreciation, loyalty, and credit. Therefore, when interacting with others, I would identify individuals' personality types and grant them what suits them best according to their requirements.

Using feedback from others to identify my strengths, I need to understand effective ways of seeking feedback from others, such as formal and informal meetings, questionnaires, emails, focus groups, and interviews. Understanding the use of feedback sources will enable me to get proper accurate feedback from the target group. I also need to understand the effective ways of using the feedback to modify my behaviour rather than seeking feedback and failing to use the feedback for its intended purpose.

For instance, when the feedback indicates that I cannot control my emotions when provoked, I should understand the trait and endeavour to manage it effectively when confronted with a provoking situation in the future. I need to capitalise on using questions to determine whether the audience has understood my message. I can use closed-ended questions to receive “yes” and “no” responses but to get more information, I also need to use open-ended questions that seek more comprehensive and broader answers.

When receiving the responses, I also need to be an active listener to understand all feedback and respond appropriately. After listening to the responses, I also need to provide feedback to fill the information gaps that existed in the audience. This would guarantee the effective conveyance of the intended message. On improving my listening skills, I need to be fully immersed in the conversation to ascertain that I understand all the information.
