A PERSONAL MENT by Introduction Generally, I am a focused young and energetic individual with high ethics and morals. Also, I come from a background with a strong emphasis on discipline and high sense of responsibilities. This has enabled me to conduct myself with dignity and integrity, requiring no supervision at all in my work. Furthermore, I am self-starting and very committed to the tasks, I undertake. You will find me very efficient, enthusiastic and very creative in whatever I do. However, I may from time to time circumnavigate the rules to allow me to solve a solution creatively and morally. While this may be risky, the outcome is always worth the risk (Adams & Montague, 2014). Nevertheless, I am always ready to take responsibility for my actions, however, risky they may be. Thus, I don’t shy away from challenges, but welcome them as a way to grow and express my creativity at finding solutions. Personal Attributes and Characteristics I am highly motivated by my passion which drives me to push myself to greater limits so as to achieve my goals. This makes me the right candidate for this position/opportunity. Subsequently, my passion has led me to study widely in this field. I have carried out extensive research on important areas of this field to gain more insight (Friedman& Friedman, 2001. I have also worked as an assistant in several firms. The information and experience I have gained will prove to be very useful in performance of duties and other activities. Moreover, my passion gives me the right attitude to deal with any challenges that I am bound to encounter. Indeed, passion enables me to go extra miles and get out of the comfort zone of attaining average results. I possess valuable skills that are very useful in my work and interactions with people that I may deal with. My primary skill is the willingness to learn. As such, I am a curious individual who learns very fast. Therefore, I am willing to learn what I dont know so that I can be very effective and efficient in my work/activities. Friedman and Friedman (2001) argued that learning is a continuous process, and thus I take learning as a continuous process and continuously work towards updating my skills/knowledge constantly. I am willing to learn new things in my field of experience and other areas so that I can be a well-rounded individual. Additionally, I possess excellent interpersonal skills in addition to being a team player. I find great joy in working together with other people in a team (Adams & Montague, 2014). This characteristic or trait enables me to find great satisfaction in achieving goals via teamwork. I endeavour to give my best effort in teamwork and cheer others to motivate them. In fact, I possess team building skills such as organizing group activities for example games and hot seats which tend to break the ice and enhances understanding between team members. These skills were acquired through participating in team building lessons and human resource seminars in my previous employment/internships. My greatest strength is strong leadership qualities that I have gained over the years. Having a background governed and guided by strong morals, ethics and discipline, I always emerge as a leader in any group that I interact with. Additionally, I have taken leadership positions and training that have sharpened my leadership skills. For instance, I am a youth chairman in my church and a resource mobilization chair in the local Resource Management Program in my local area. Further, I was a school captain all through from primary to high school (Stewart, 1996). Currently, I sit on the Students Management Board at my former high school. I am also a member of Student Resource Mobilization Committee in my County. I have attended various leadership training classes at the school, church and county level. Additionally, I enrolled in a leadership training college for a year. I have acquired valuable skills that make me a very effective and efficient leader. Another strength which I possess is keenness for detail. I am very accurate on details as I understand how little omissions can result in grave errors. This strength was cultivated while I was working as an intern in a local bank. I noticed how ignoring small details can lead to big risks and even fraud. My keenness for details enables me to be very precise and concise in my work. My job is highly reliable and rarely contains errors or omissions. As Prochownik (2000) clearly stated, good work should be void of errors. I prefer to work in a group. This working style is most convenient for me based on my skills and people skills. Working in a group is very motivational. This is because it is possible to brainstorm and come up with very original ideas to solve challenges and give higher performance. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in utilizing my skills to work in a team and consequently motivate the members with my team building skills. Moreover, working in a group allows me to exercise my leadership skills. This opens up chances for me to learn new ways of managing people and put my skills to meaningful use. I find working in a group very convenient and self-rewarding. Group work releases positive energy when everyone is giving their best effort to achieve group goals (Arter & Spandel, 2002). Within the group, I learnt new skills from the members. This fulfils my quest for knowledge and curiosity to learn new things. Working in a group reduces my anxiety and doubt of producing substandard results. This is because the team has diverse skills and with proper coordination, this diversity is utilised to achieve high-quality work. I am well suited for a dynamic and flexible work environment that will allow for creativity and innovation. I am focused on a work environment with a decentralised authority and clearly established channels of communication. A dynamic environment will enable me to progress in my work and achieve career growth in a well-established career path (Friedman& Friedman, 2001). Basically, I prefer a place with decentralised form of authority to allow for creativity. I am very creative, and this can only be achieved in a workplace with less bureaucracy and more flexibility. My interests lie in a work environment with challenging tasks and assignment. This will stretch my capabilities and sharpen my mind in finding creative solutions to challenges. This will enable me attain career and mental growth and become more useful in the workforce. The possible career and job roles that fit my attributes and skills are very vast. Nonetheless, managerial/ supervision roles are my preferred areas. Similarly, I have a passion for Information technology. The supervision roles will allow me to exercise my leadership skills for the benefit of the entire team. Additionally supervision will enable me to use my people skills to steer the team to greater heights of success. Working as an IT administrator will stretch my creativity and innovative abilities. This will benefit the organization by enabling innovation. Additionally, it will lead to success in achievement of set goals by providing a creative solution to the firms problems (Prochownik, 2000). I shall require enthusiasm, keenness for improvement and teamwork from the team I shall be working with. I prefer to learn in a group since my strength is in working with people. This group should bring positive energy and have a zeal for continuous improvement of their performance. This way, the team will achieve high results, which is a motivational factor for future tasks.
