The paper “Roles of the Personnel Managers and Importance of Workforce Planning” is an engrossing example of human resources literature review. Personnel management is a term referring to obtaining, sourcing, or hiring, using, and maintaining a satisfied workforce. Personnel management is usually a significant part of management since it is concerned with the well-being of employees at work and it concerned with how they relate to the organization (Flouris and Oswald, 2006). Therefore, the Low Country Aero Repair, LLC (LCAR) company personnel management will be responsible for planning, compensating, organizing, maintaining, and integrating people or employees with the main purpose of contributing to the organizational, societal, and individual goals (Kaps, Hamilton, and Bliss, 2012).

In other words, personnel management will play a vital role that is primarily concerned with human resources within the company.Some of the vital functions that shall be expected of the personnel management include employment or hiring of employees, development, and compensation in all sectors and departments of the company. The personnel management will perform these functions primarily in consultation with other departments (Goeters, 2004). Notably, personnel management is part of an extension to the general management; therefore, it is concerned with stimulating promoting a competent workforce.

This function shall ensure that the management of Low Country Aero Repair, LLC. (LCAR) obtain persons or workers who will provide their full contributions to the management and running of the company (Ptacek and Motwani, 2011). Additionally, it will be the role of the personnel management to assist and advise the line management concerning personnel matters. Thus, the personnel department shall be made a staff department of the organization.Moreover, they shall be expected to put emphasis on the actions other than working on lengthy plans, schedules, and work methods.

They will be mandated to solve grievances of persons at work in a more effective way by using the organizational laid rationale personnel policies. Hence, the activities of personnel managers are expected to be human-oriented.
