He is a person who comprehends what his responsibilities are and how best he can deliver in the line of duty – both at the domestic front as well as on the side of the organization. Personal life must not influence his professional agenda and a similarly professional angle should remain within the four walls of the office and official issues must never be discussed in the luxury of his home. He must dedicate his energies towards work when he is at the office and remain loyal and fully devoted to his family when he is at home. The top management has thought long and hard to discern as to why employee motivation has been missing from the organizational ranks of late. The reason for the same is that employees have burdened themselves with a lot of pressure from their domestic lives. One really cannot blame them as they are human beings with feelings, emotions, and sentiments attached to their loved ones. What best the organizational settings can do is to devise proper ways through which problems of balancing work and family could be met. This demands a serious thinking regime on the top cadre of any organization which is serious enough to think and act in line with the notion ‘practice what you preach’. Balancing work and family is not an easy proposition from any stretch of the imagination. However balancing in a way that the sanctity of the personal relationships, as well as professional ones remains, is something that attains a great deal of significance and through the length of this discussion, an effort has been made to address the very same aspects.

Frustration surely is a work-related problem and hence the reason that it is being given the attention now that it richly deserved in the past. Communication has to be key in discussions pertaining to avoiding being frustrated at work as managers need to comprehend the fact that the subordinates working under them are also humans and they too have a life of their own.  ...Download file to see next pagesRead More
