Performance-based rewards can be powerful tools to affect and reinforce change in an organization. However, companies need to make sure that their performance-based rewards programs are aligned with the overall business strategy. Any disconnect between the two may undermine a company's ability to achieve its goals. The lowest improvement among the 03 categories is observed in talent acquisition of the given company. It is important to identify what are the specific skills and knowledge required to achieve specific company goals.

The talent acquisition group can select the best candidates for the job by focusing on those skills and knowledge requirements of the company. 3. Company Responds Quickly and Consistently to Verified or Proven Unethical Behavior.Comparatively, the given company shows a high level of improvement in company performance, human resource, and talent acquisition categories with respect to responding to unethical behavior. The lowest improvement was recorded in talent acquisition. The underlying problem here is talent acquisition not being representative of the company’s corporate culture but is conventional and/or rigidly model-based.

To overcome the situation an exclusive Talent Acquisition Strategy which engages employees rather than isolates them and speaks its brand name can be developed. 4. All Associates Here Are Held Accountable For Their Performance.The lowest performance has been reported in human resources with respect to the accountability of the individuals for their performances. It can be due to failing to identify the role of the human resources department in achieving the company’s goals. It is important to align the human resource strategy with the overall business strategies of the company and to articulate their contribution to achieving the company goals. 5. Company is committed to Providing Equal Opportunity for All AssociatesThere are international, Federal, State, and local laws applicable to companies holding them liable for facilitating non-discrimination in employment such as the terms and conditions of employment, including, but not limited to, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.

Therefore, equal opportunity is a critical policy that can create legal issues for a company. In the given company, however, talent acquisition shows the lowest improvement with respect to equal opportunity bias. The underlying cause of this problem can be failing to recognize the importance of fitting the Talent Acquisition Strategy into the overall Human Resources and Business Strategies of the company. Interviewing, testing, background investigations, and hiring employees have to be aimed at attracting the most suitable candidates to the company.

A strategically planned workforce can avoid employment discrimination issues. 6. Company Places a High Value on Treating Employees Fairly.Talent Acquisition category of the given company also shows poor improvement relating to treating employees fairly. Seemingly the given company has failed to identify the importance of formulating a strong Talent Acquisition Strategy which can largely contribute to the development and profitability of the company. An effective Talent Acquisition Strategy supports the organization’s ability to attract and retain high-performing employees by creating effective sourcing and recruitment approaches and determining how employment branding attracts and retains candidates (SHRM).7. I Trust the Leadership of the Company.

There is only a marginal difference in all three categories with respect to employee satisfaction regarding the company’s leadership. Poor satisfaction can be observed among the workforce regarding their leaders. It can be due to recruiting unskilled and inexperienced individuals at the top management level and failing to provide guidance and a single direction for all the employees to follow. Leaders play an important role in formulating and communicating new strategic directions, communicating with and motivating employees to increase dedication to organizational goals.

Therefore it is important to develop integrity and cohesion in the leadership style (Ingram). 8. Company Recognizes Productive PeopleAs was previously identified the given company has not developed a systemic Talent Acquisition Strategy. This can be the underlying cause for failing to recognize the productive people. it is important to develop a comprehensive Talent Acquisition Strategy to the given company 9. Everyone Here Does Their Fair Share Of Work.As was previously discussed the given company needs to develop a sound corporate culture that emphasizes the importance of teamwork for achieving company goals.

Unfair share of work represented in talent and acquisition also indicate that it is important to clearly articulate the individual employees’ performance expectations in terms of performance goals.
