Human resource training remains a fundamental component for improving service delivery capa among employees. Comprehensive training within organizations would involve inclusion of all organizational stakeholders including directors. Normal training processes fail to achieve desired improvements in productivity. Necessity, therefore, arises for undertaking training which could be identified as distinctive among employees. The training process should be undertaken through qualified trainers and following properly defined achievable objectives. This paper presents a discussion on methods for improving training aimed at making the training simple and result oriented. Simple training program remains easy to undertake.
This paper further identifies the various stakeholders included within a training program, and who remain fundamental in making the training result oriented. Distinctive training would include input from some external sources, seeking to bring new activities within an organization. Training programs following repetitive procedures become monotonous and lack the element of distinction among employees who have undertaken such training; hence adding little value to productivity of these employees. Distinctive training would significantly assist an organization achieve a competitive advantage within a specified industry. Organizations, therefore, should not only undertake training programs, but also seek to ensure the training programs remain distinctive and value adding. Read More
