? HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT Question1 In order to diminish the curse of gender inequality entirely from its roots, numerous independent organizations such as JUMP or National Organization for Women (NOW) fought vigorously. After retaining such conflicts for numerous years, these independent organizations became successful in attaining their mission; WOMEN EQUALITY. It became possible only through education and litigation. As a result of which, the status and image of women entirely changed. Now a day, the women’s are not only performing the activities of their residences but also accomplishing the duties of their work places in an effective way. As a result of which the position and status of women in the workplaces are changing at a rapid pace as compared to previous days. Apart from this, due to the introduction of the law of schooling of girls and women in the year 1767, the craze for education and schooling enhanced thereby amplifying the talent of women segment. As a result of which, the typical house-wives of recent age are not expected to spin, cook or sew rather to perform their assigned duties effectively in a workplace. By doing so, the inner knowledge and morale of the female segment is amplifying thereby strengthening their bases more efficiently as compared to previous age. So, the intensity of various crimes is also reducing at a significant extent as compared to previous days. This proved extremely effective for the female segment of the society thereby amplifying their position and fame in the entire globe among others. Moreover, as the female segment of the society is attaining high level of education, so both the segments (males or females) might easily apply for a particular job in a workplace. And as a result, the degree of professional integration between male and female segments enhanced thereby declining the inequality of wages and positions as well. Along with this, the unemployment gap within male and female segments of the society reduced significantly resulting in amplification of their living standard and life style. Thus, it might be predicted that due to the enhancement of the earning members of the families, the status and living style also improved Therefore, due to the presence of educational skills and knowledge, females or women continue to hold the leadership position both in public and private sector as compared to males. As a result of which, the supremacy of women is quite similar as compared to males in both public and private workplaces. So, it helped almost 70% of the female segment of the society to become educated and employed thereby offering approximately 3/4th of the total amount expense of a family. Just like award-winning corporate lawyer named Franci Blassberg is also one of the best examples of a female, who became successful in positioning itself in this male dominated world. As a result, the dominance and status of female segments enhanced resulting in amplification of its popularity and control. It became possible only due to the inner morale and confidence of the Franci Blassberg to flight against the complications and obstacles of males in the world. Other than this, due to the presence of effective communication skills and problem solving nature, Franci Blassberg is now recognized as one of the most efficient and talented lawyer among many others. Not only this, decision making attitude as well as action taking nature acted as the backbone for Franci Blassberg that enhanced her position and expertise among many others. Therefore, it might be clearly depicted that the self awareness, confidence, experience and responsible character are some of the most essential weapons of the women’s of today’s era. And without the help of these characteristic features, a woman may not sustain or retain her position in this corporate world among the males. Along with this, exact vision and task completion nature is also extremely essential for a woman like Franci Blassberg to retain her portfolio in her workplace thereby amplifying her image and craze among others. Hence, it might be clearly revealed that, education and creativity is the most essential tool that helped the females of the society to improve their status and position among males. Along with this, inner confidence and talent also supported them to flight against male dominance resulting in amplification of their leadership power and position in the workplace. So, these characteristic features helped the female segment to enhance the level of employment thereby reducing unemployment and poverty to a significant extent as compared to many other nations. And presence of these features helped the female segment of the society to achieve equal status in the workplaces. Question 2 According to 1964 Civil Rights Act, discrimination or inequality against transgender individuals such as lesbian or gay men are illegal or against the law of United States. This is because; according to the law and policies of United States, they need to be offered equal protection and safety just like others in every sphere. Apart from this, these types of transgender individual also need to be offered equal respect and admiration so as to retain their prosperity and well-being in the society. This might help them to maintain a better living, just like others in the society. Along with prohibition of transgender, the law of 1964 also offers protection from sexual discrimination. As a result of these laws, these individual might attain equal position and image in the workplaces as well as in society. And it also helps in presenting equal safety and security from any sort of hazards or risk. This is done in order to present them, a safe and secured life thereby safeguarding their status and reputation in the workplaces among others. It is extremely essential for any transgender individual to maintain an efficient lifestyle, just like normal human beings. The struggle to present a hassle free life to the transgender or gay men’s is quite similar to the fight for women equality in workplaces. This is because; in both cases proper rights and privileges’ need to be offered. Only then, the female segment or the transgender might position themselves successfully among the male dominated organizations or society. This proved effective for these individual to enhance their image and dominancy in the organization resulting in amplification of their leadership positions. Just as Patti Stanger, a lesbian created a successful position in this male dominated society. This became possible only due to her extreme confidence and will-power to generate a strong foothold in the society among many other normal human beings. However, it is also supported by the laws introduced in favor of these individual. Hence, it might be stated that, both inner confidence and determination along with varied laws helped the female segments or the transgender to present their talents and creativity in front of the world. And generate a strong position for her-self among many other males. So, it proved extremely effective for the female segments or the transgender to retain their portfolio in the market among others. Question 3 In this age of globalization and industrialization, reputation and sustainability is the most essential requirement of any organization. This is because; it an organization fails to retain its image and popularity, then it may not prosper in the market among other rival players. Along with this, it may not become able to enhance its customer base as well as profitability in the market among others. However, in order to do so, maximum extent of the organizations desire to recruit and manage, highly experienced and committed employees. Only then, the goals and objectives of the organization might get fulfilled to a significant extent resulting in amplification of its total sale and demand in the market. However, in order to attain or retain an experienced and talented employee within a public sector organization, money is the most essential tool. This is because with the help of money an individual might easily fulfill their both primary and secondary demands and wants in a significant extent. Moreover, performance-based pay or incentive also acts as a motivational tool to enhance the inner morale and competence of the employees thereby amplifying their dedication over the assigned work. As a result, the level of performance and productivity of the employees also gets enhanced resulting in amplification of the reputation of the organization to a significant extent among other rival players. Along with this, it might also improve the image and efficiency of the product lines in the market among other rival players. Apart from this, an organization also utilizes employee benefits or fringe benefits such as disability leave, retirement benefits, sick leave, vacations and many others as a part of its policy of recruitment or retention. This is done; only in case of experienced or talented staffs so as to retain him or her within the organization. It is done to improve the productivity and total sale of the products to a significant extent as compared to others. Along with this, by presenting such type of facilities, an organization desires to maintain the employee within the organization with similar wage structure and employment policies. And so, the employee may not apply in any other organization for better wages. Not only this, implementation of wide range of training and educational workshops hinders employee morale and confidence. As a result of which, the level of performance and efficiency of the employees reduces to a certain extent resulting in amplification of conflicts and miss-confusions. And as a result of these issues, the level of retention reduces thereby amplifying the ratio of attrition. It is extremely worse for any organization in the market among other rivals. Such a scenario is witnessed in an American global management consulting organization named Hay Group. In this organization, the rate of attrition of the employees enhanced mainly due to the presence of high-ended training programs and implementation of fridge-benefits. As a result of this, the rate of retention of the experienced employees reduced to a significant extent thereby amplifying the ratio of attrition. This proved extremely worse for the Philadelphia based consulting firm among other rival players. And this hampered the position and reputation of the organization to a certain extent thereby hindering its profit margin and revenues. Hence, it might be stated that implementation of training programs or employee benefits may be effective only if maintained in an appropriate way. Then only, it might enhance the effectiveness and profitability of the organization in the market among many other rival players. Otherwise, it might offer negative impacts over the prosperity of the organization thereby hindering its image in the market. And as a result, the threat of new entrants might get enhanced due to implementation of such polices and strategies. Read More
