Each one of these participated in a period that would alter the world that these people know. As more techniques and skilled crafts became in greater demand it brought artisans and other workers into the cities, changing the way people had lived. Agriculture changed the way people farmed and the potential yield.  Immigration brought in people from neighboring lands.  People teeming into the towns and cities forced the expansion and created added the concept of “city living.” This was, also, the time when the “seeds” of capitalism in Europe began, an economic concept that remains very active in the world today. (Goessl, 2013) This period, also, saw the rise of the Middle Class, which did not exist until then, and this created the growing demand for education. This period is responsible for a great deal of change, if it had not, we might not be or live as we do today.
