Written Report on SYRIA. Syria which is officially known as the Syrian Arab Republic with Damascus as the capital and is situated in the Western Asia with Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Turkey, Israel and the Mediterranean Sea on its borders. Arab Socialist Baath Party have been the party in rule in Syria starting from 1963 but the actual power is vested in the president who is supported by the military and a group of leading players of the political party.
The revolution in Syria was known as the Syrian uprising, the conflict was between the loyal forces of the Ba’ath government and those eying power from outside. This revolution began on15th March 2011 and spread nationwide by April 2011 hence becoming part of the wider protest in the Middle East known as the Arab Uprising.
While some resulted in a change of regime such as in Libya and Egypt, the protests in Syria resulted in a civil war. The current problem has roots in the divisions in the Syrian society. On one side are the winners, which is the Alawi sect from the provinces.1 On the other are the disadvantaged Sunni, who are cut off from the state services, perquisites, and political privileges.2 Due to the regime’s custom to use violence to suppress uprisings, use of force was preferred in 2011 as well.
Uprising of Syria
Other Arab uprisings of 2011 ended accomplishing the final goal while the Syrian and Egypt has been ongoing; with Syria being one of the country most affected by these uprisings. The Syrian uprising, which has turned to be more of revolution in the recent past, has caused so much tension among the high eight nations.
These actions can be referred to as domestic violence, which is a societal dilemma that has its roots in ancient times, when women were not viewed as full-fledged human beings. The prevalence of domestic violence in the contemporary society is worrisome and calls for stringent measures, especially harsh punishments, to the perpetrators.

Any dispute comes within as well as between countries arises due to greediness of a leader or misunderstanding of world matters and regionally thinking of any problem. Today’s world is different from the earlier ones.
