Task Question 3 The fight for anti slavery and eradication of civil war in the US remains in the history records as asuccessfulbattle that has yielded immense results. Its cause relates to inferior human practices that hold limited ethical bearing in the modern society. The practices led to gross discrimination and deprivation of human dignity through slavery and various atrocities. Clearly, achievement of fair operations including elimination of slavery has been through along struggle. The struggle resulted to lose of life and dignity where rebels to the white rule were under severe punishment. The fight for anti slavery and fairness took along period and was spearheaded by various leaders who advocated for respect to human beings. They also advocated for fairness in service delivery and eradication of discriminatory ideals that were compromising performance. Abraham Lincoln, who is a renowned hero and an advocator for equality participated in the struggle for fairness with immense vigor to foster cohesion in the US. Various leaders’ especially Republican officials who were against slavery and civil war supported his ideals with an aim of developing a sustainable solution. Slavery was unethical practice that was used against blacks and unfortunate groups to benefit individuals from the federal states. The unfairness in service delivery, resource allocation and gross discrimination witnessed, led to civil animosity where confederate states called for succession from the federal government. This paper discusses Abraham Lincoln’s main goal in issuing proclamation to foster eradication of slavery and internal conflict in the US. Abraham Lincoln concerns Abraham Lincoln was a crusader for peace and fairness in US as an essential pillar for growth. His ideals were considered noble and still hold relevance in nurturing good morals in the modern society. He had a strong passion to ensure eradication of slavery and civil war that had severe complications on the countries progress including integration. The unfair practices led to unwarranted hostilities between states that resulted to categorization of states as “red and blue states” that led to succession calls (Lincoln & Michael 133). Lincoln had amoral view on how Africans and unfortunate individuals were mistreated in the US. Indeed, the unfair treatment degenerated to isolation and intense fighting between individuals in pursuit for justice. Abraham’s main aim was to foster fairness and equality in the country where respect to African dignity nearly degenerated. He persistently, cited slavery and racism as major impediments to, cohesion and integration that influences performance in various states. Ideally, slaves underwent severe suffering from the whites since their plight in various aspects were never respected (Lincoln & Michael 141). They could not access education in good schools, receive quality Medicare, remuneration and acquire nutritious meals despite their hard work. Consequently, distribution of monetary incentives was based on discriminatory elements that favored persons from federal states majorly. Such discriminatory elements made various leaders including Lincoln to form struggle groups to ensure respect to their dignity. He made equivocal and electrifying speeches that touched on equality and eradication of slavery. This was to enhance fairness and provision of services on non-discriminatory aspects. In particular, Africans (slaves) were denied access to various essentials in the US that contributes to human development and growth. They were working without remuneration and access to superior healthcare, which are vital for life advancement. Lincoln in his pursuit for justice considered the atrocities slaves were undergoing since they worked for long hours. He asserted that, disrespect to human dignity and rights were rampant including denial of basic healthcare, which authorities are under obligation to provide fairly. This led to deterioration of health standards of slaves and individuals from confederate states. Slavery and unfair human practices are elements that hamper growth in a diverse setting since they limit cohesion and mutual understanding. Lincoln’s pursuit As noted by Lincoln & Michael (142), Abraham Lincoln struggled immensely for eradication of slavery and civil war, which was causing more harm to citizens. He dreamt of days that the country would embrace fair practices that ensure respect to human dignity and equality as a growth principle. Evidently, discriminatory practices led to unwarranted conflict that threatens to derail peace and progress in the US. Individuals from federal states were reluctant in integrating blacks in leadership positions and various sectors of operations due to racism (Lincoln & Michael 142). They denied them access to good education and diverse amenities that contributed to succession calls. Lincoln stated that, the struggle for equality requires determination and endurance to facilitate achievement of appropriate results. Indeed, strong willpower and endurance was critical during the struggle due to severe suffering that the perceived leaders who participated in the liberation fight were exposed to. He adopted mobilization and legal framework strategies as requisite measures to facilitate eradication of slavery and internal conflicts. Goal and aim Abraham Lincoln was a leader with a strong mission to liberate the American society and foster development principles. He advocated for cohesion and eradication of racism, which was affecting performance in the US. Ideally, achievement of exemplary monetary and social performance cannot be in isolation (Lincoln & Michael 143). It requires mutual integration and understanding which is vital in enhancing human dignity. In his writings and speeches, Abraham advocated for equality in service delivery as an ethical aspect that is fundamental in developing strong economies. Individuals have given equal opportunity irrespective of race or color since one’s potential is the most significant element in human beings (Lincoln & Michael 144). Consequently, he fought to ensure eradication of discriminatory service delivery. This was to facilitate equality in the provision of healthcare, education and economic benefits to all irrespective of race. This is essential since slavery ideals failed to recognize slaves as potential individuals who basic services also applies. They were denied access to good schools and Medicare, which are essential elements in life. He also fought against internal conflicts and incoherent practices by federal authorities. According to Lincoln & Michael (144), the civil war affected internal cooperation and foreign relationship between US and various states. The inferior relations influenced trade and monetary performance of the country since it could not enjoy export incentives from foreign markets. The war also affected production of cotton, which was a major export earner for the country due to poor coordination of work in the firms. In short, Lincoln main aim towards the struggle was to ensure liberation of Africans including unfortunate individuals from unfair atrocities that they faced. He advocated for cohesiveness, equality in service delivery, eradication of discriminatory actions and racism. Indeed, the struggle has resulted to the improvement of fair practices that embrace ethical values especially in the current state. Conclusion Evidently, the fight for anti slavery and eradication of civil war in the US remains a successful battle that has yielded immense results. It has led to adoption of fair practices that advances coherence and respect to human dignity that are essential elements for growth. Key leaders including Abraham Lincoln are credited for the realization of the struggles ideals that was to liberalize the state through adoption of non-discriminatory practices.
