But if you do this without knowing exactly how the heart works, you run the risk of getting the exact opposite effect - too much stress can do more harm than good for the blood pressure.
 There are three types of pulse:
- arterial is a rhythmic shock-like oscillation that occurs when arteries fill with blood.
- capillary - redness of the edge of the nail plate depending on heart rate and blood pressure.
- venous - pulsation of large veins in the neck and other large vessels located close to the organ for the suitable blood pressure.

            How it works while running, as for the blood pressure? Our heart works in a certain blood mode, familiar to us, and each person's basic indicators are individual to form the blood pressure. Each age group has its lower and upper-pressure limits. If your performance is somewhere in the middle, you do not need to worry, but if they are closer to the upper limit, it's time to think about your health and lifestyle for the favorable blood pressure.

The work of the organ consists of 3 phases:

- Atrial contraction for the blood pressure. The duration of the reduction is 0.1 seconds. At this point, there is an increase in atrial pressure, while the ventricles are relaxed. The difference in pressure allows blood to flow from the atria down to the ventricles for the blood pressure.
            Then there is a relaxation of the atria for 0.7 seconds. The blood pressure in the ventricles increases, which allows blood to flow into the aorta and artery.
            After the first two phases, there is a cardiac pause, which lasts about 0.5 seconds. The duration of the pause depends on the training of the muscle for the favorable blood pressure.

Average: children older than 10 years and adults, including the elderly - 60-100 beats per minute, well-trained adult athletes - 40-60 beats per minute for the suitable blood pressure

            Fortunately, the organ is a muscle that can be pumped up and strengthened, made a strong and healthy rate. Arthur Ledyard, a well-known New Zealand running coach and author of Running with Ledyard, talks about the workings of the pumping organ and the connection to exercise to reach the control over the blood pressure.

            The heart is a motor, a pump that supports blood circulation in the body. The stronger it is, the more blood will be pumped in one push, and the less strain on the cardiovascular system for the normal blood pressure (not increased blood pressure).

            The heart rate increases during running, as the blood pressure circulation has been increased, the blood pressure and the temperature rise. These processes help the organism get rid of certain types of fats and breakdown products that cause clogged arteries and plaque formation.

- Food. Carbohydrates, proteins, and fats are necessary for the normal and productive work of our body, but their percentage depends on physical activity and lifestyle, and this should be taken into account in the diet.
- Ambient temperature. When it is cool, the heart will beat slower, and vice versa, in the heat, the pulse will be higher than usual.
- Emotional condition. Through hormones, human emotions affect the pulse through the autonomic nervous system. At rest, our heart rate is slow, and when excited increased.
- Genetics. Each person's organism is unique due to genetic features that affect the rhythm of the organ, too.
- Bad Habits. Of course, smoking and alcohol harm the work of the whole organism and make the heart work faster and wear out in the pressure.

Just walking for a few months (and sometimes a whole year) is more difficult, not physically, but psychologically, but it is a necessary condition for a reasonable training of the heart muscle.
