The rules are also applied to pedestrians and cyclists in a state of intoxication. Much of the loss from driving under the influence of strong drinks occurs on weekends. According to some reports, every fourth victim of a car accident is killed in traffic, as a result of one party being under the influence of alcohol. Of the arrested drunk drivers, there are nine out of ten people. In recent years, there has been an increase in the proportion of women. Every day, people drive a car in a state of intoxication by strong drinks.

It leads to severe consequences and a higher occurrence of accidents as a result. Under the influence of a lower dose of strong drinks, every hundredth driver goes. The intensity of traffic is constantly increasing so that more and more people who are under the effect of alcohol are involved in the traffic of the country when they are driving and drinking.        Because of the above, reducing the rate of drunken crashes is essential.

Alcohol impairs the ability to act in traffic, weakens the ability to assess the situation, thereby increasing the risk of accidents. Typical crashes for drinking drivers are a crosswalk and a head-on collision. The consequences of such drinking events can always be serious. Every year many people suffer from drinking. Only more than half of the victims are driving and drinking, and 16% are their passengers.

Serious crashes occur mainly in the evening and at night. Summer and the beginning of autumn are the most dangerous time for statistics of driving and drinking. The most common cause of loss of drinking drivers and passengers is a high speed and non-use of seat belts. The use of seat belts could save many drinking victims from death. Although, based on the analysis of serious crashes, we can assume that driving and drinking is a problem for young drivers, in the road traffic, a typical drunk driver is a man of 30-39 years.

The older drivers have also been blamed lately than before. Strong drinks may strongly influence the inexperienced drivers than experienced drivers. In general, young drivers' inexperienced may add risks in themselves as a result. Alcohol has a strong impact on their management skills, which have not yet been sufficiently worked out. Strong drinks may have a more severe effect on the ability to drive elderly or rarely drinkers.

Concomitant use of them and medication can have an unpredictable effect on driving. The overall effect is often stronger than the drug effects alone. Drugs may disappear from the body slowly and, although their effects are no longer felt, consuming strong drinks can cause unexpected effects. The extra load for the driver also may be caused by a drunk passenger.
