Brief Profile: I am in the third month of my last year of the program. Am doing my masters at the moment. I have had three placements so far. All have been three very different experiences. I have worked in three hospitals namely; Cumberland Hospital where I was charged with organizational duties for the health professional, writing of reports on outcome forums for the distribution attendees, and as a host for the career information day. The second one is Nepean Hospital. Here, I was invited to weekly Executive Patient Flow Meetings and given tasks to complete that arise as actions from meetings. I worked with the director of allied health and developed a business case to justify the introduction of weekend staff for Allied Health (very challenging – excellent experience).Also in Black town Hospital, I worked as a clinician across Nursing Prepare, Medicine and Allied Health for the roll out of Activity Based Funding (change in hospital funding model). I Assisted with the management of Severe or Adverse patient related incidents across the Western Sydney Local Health District as part of the Clinical Governance Team. In all these I worked for 6 months each. I see the increase of knowledge with every increase in the level of studies. I can confess I have seen a different in the way I have been doing my profession with every increase in knowledge. My Professional Ethics and Knowledge My professional values and ethics as a Health Service Manager The execution of knowledge in the workplace can be biased to the individual temperaments and his or her background upbringing. This can pose a serious danger if there is no such strategies to keep a bay such of the ill habits that are propelled by my poor background. Some of the Australian College of Health Services Executives standards are parallel to my personal standards too but some are not. This poses a challenge that every time I execute my knowledge in the professional cycles, I ought to be in line with what was stipulated in these particular standards. These professional values include the need to advance my personal health information management knowhow and its practice through the extra researches, public presentation offered and even with taking advantage of the continuing education offered in the range of credible colleges around. Also, the deliberate decision to refuse any participation of any nature that suggests a concealing of unethical behavior. This standard will help me to confront and even report such mall practices in a bit to guard my professional standard and to reserve harmony in the overall professional environment with my patients. I believe in high quality delivery of these services required to all the clients as facilitated by the working environment. I belief that a flexible working environment encourages the communication of an area to be open nd the service charges to be fair. I recognize that good work done and holds high respect to the rights the rights and the exusting differences between members in a working place. These are ways in which one is able to take care of a problem from the first time it’s evident to the final moment of the realization of the solution which is in accordance with management procedures. Therefore, as a practicing professional, the need to stipulate the individual management strategies is crucial as they will act as conduit to an easy way of acquiring my professional goals, these include the introduction of an initiate plan- this will offset the solution process that will have to be backed-up by other strategies as time or as the process progresses. This strategy will help me in the analysis into the root of the problem, then through this, I will be able to carry out a proper action or even a recommendations towards the problem faced. This body exercises authority to the practicing professionals. They foresee the day to day running of health related professions. In their execution of their mandate to make sure the people are given acceptable medical services, they are formed rules and regulations to make sure there is a concurrent flow of tasks in this field. Therefore, I am committed to the full observance of the rules and regulations with which the profession is guarded. This is because they are predetermined to enhance the services given to the people. How I see my role a Health Service Manager and connecting with the broader community In the practicing of this profession, I have had the privilege of meeting with other distinguished individuals who have inspired me in a number of ways. Some of them are of a higher educational level than me, yet others are lower than me. They have acted like role models in the path to my ambitions regarding this field I have entered. Since its advisable to learn from those who came before me, I have embraced he practice and the result is a built up capacity. One that dares to reach the limits that were never reached before. Personal review statement Ahmed Abdulaziz Bindraihim is a dedicated young man who has been through schooling during his early years of his life and has had a record of good performance. This has helped him to realize some of the goals in life one needs to know. Through schooling in his junior classes and the good performance he has had, he was able to secure a position in the college and even now doing his undergraduate as a simple reflection of his dedication. His career goals were define late in the studying sessions he has had, since then, he had just had high expectation of the work he will be undertaking. He is later settled in the administration of health which was as a result of seeing the need of the docket and assessment of his ability to deliver to the expectation n=both for the employer and to the client. With that little knowledge of the field he had come to know, he delved into the depths and took a decision to explore it effectively so as to have a complete appreciation of the field. He has since then been able to acknowledge the decision of joining this profession as it has given him a platform for enjoying good e=workplace experiences. Bindraihim is at the moment a student specialist in the health administration area. He was formerly in the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the institute of Public Administration doing his diploma in health administration. He is currently doing masters in still the same field and at the same time managing other field related jobs. He has since then be able to carry out different remarkable activities in other different places. His profile reflects a diligent and a committed workman. He has been vice head of Personnel Department at Al Yamamah Hospital – Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, a quality coordinator for a year. He has also been a medical technician at the general directorate of health. Other areas he has experience with is being a medical records technician at the general directorate of health affairs, psychiatric hospital, social insurance hospital king Khalid eye specialist and hospital, a medical secretary at the department of ophthalmology in the King Abdulaziz University Hospital of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. He has also been contributed his views about regulatory of facilities, administrative guidance and how to manage health. Alongside this, he can offer a help incase in the eventual of support emergency. His career goal is to advance in the delivery of services in the administration of health. Comments on section The demand in the current world for the need to health management practitioners is large. This has made me feel the need to be that person who would do fill that one position in the field with a difference. It has had the result of having me committed to my carrier goals. This is the major reason why I had opted for this extra course, to use it as a stepping stone towards advancing to the higher level of my carrier.
