Extract of sample "Becoming a Physical Therapist"

The purpose of selecting the University of Miami for studying is its internationally recognized DPT program. It has a track record of producing highly competent and proficient physical therapists. I have checked the curriculum on the internet, and it is well designed to cover all the necessary practical and theoretical aspects of the field. The DPT program of the University of Miami is not only recognized and accepted in the USA but also highly acknowledged globally. It produces physical therapists having sound knowledge of the theory and considerable practical experience.

The program focuses on research and its implementation in the healthcare settings, provision of high-quality patient care, and social awareness. The DPT program will give me a chance to develop my concepts and knowledge related to the field and build essential skills required for practicing. The testimonials about the university are also overwhelming, therefore; I am keen to join the institution which supports critical thinking, logical approach and helps in building concepts through scientific research(University of Miami Health System, 2014).

The inspiration came from my friend who is now practicing as a physical therapist in the USA.
