Patient’s Dissatisfaction with the Nursing Care Insert Insert PICOT question In patients over 18 years, is poor doctor service the result to customer dissatisfaction in delivering right medication?Source Alexander Junewicz, Stuart J. Younger. (2010) Patient-Satisfaction Surveys on a Scale of 0 To 10: Improving Healthcare, Leading it Astray?, Hastings Center Report, 205, 45, 3, 43The problem being addressed in this context deals with patient dissatisfaction. Patients’ needs have to be catered for while undergoing treatment.

The importance of satisfying the patient cuts across the entire healthcare premises. From the services offered, quality of treatment and the complete care carries the image of the facility. Quality service providence may include the investigations that are used to monitor the nursing care whether the nurses are doing their best in service delivery. To improve and maintain patient satisfaction, nurses must an understanding of the factors that influence patient’s satisfaction. From this, we have found that its primary objective was to the influence that the patients have the moment their needs are not adhered to as per their wish (Alexander and Stuart, 2010).

There are domains that are required to be focused to deal with sick people accordingly. These domains are; understand the socio-demographic background of the patient, patients expectations regarding nursing care. Nurses also study the physical environment surrounding the patient and responsible for an interpersonal relationship between the therapist and the patient. Technical medical competence of a nurse and the influence the is available within the healthcare organization that concerns both a nurse and the patient, this are among the roles of the patient (Alexander and Stuart, 2010).

If a nurse upholds and follows the highlighted domains, the nursing care will provide maximum satisfaction to their patients. The project can be described to be a backbone on the health care provision. As it is obvious, a patient is a person whose health status has malfunctioned. If his/ her needs are not attended to in a timely and proper perspective, life might be lost. The attention to assure sick people that care and attention will be the priority of most hospitals by the therapists will create a good impression to the community (Alexander and Stuart, 2010).

To confirm and change the project basing on the patients preferences, there are aspects that need to be learned and understood by the nurses. The therapist has to work citing the domains about the patients (Alexander and Stuart, 2010). Understanding the patient’s expectations and background will assist more in the patient’s recovery. Some patients are stubborn ad troublesome in nature, so the nurse has to good in communication skills and interpersonal skills. The major character involved is the nurse.

Nurses are responsible performing physical examinations and health histories, providing health promotion, counseling, and education (Alexander and Stuart, 2010). Nurses also administer medication and personalized interventions. This projects implementation arose from the complaints from patients in various healthcare providers. They had complaints of nurses taking interests at heart, and their medical provision was biased. The outcomes from nurse’s behavior raised concern to the authorities.

The measure that was put in place the managements varied depending on the nurse’s level of experience and intelligence. As for the under experienced nurses, they are taken to a short-term training on how to handle the sick despite their social conditions. As for the highly educated nurses with experience, they introduced to a mentor who gave them knowledge on taking of patients and how they will train and guide future incoming nurses.
