Research Design and Methodology: The research is designed on the basis of a questionnaire, which would be filled up on the basis of a personal interview with the appropriate clinicians. The data collected will be collated and analyzed using statistical means to arrive at the findings.Ethical Consideration: The use of clinician information requires maintaining confidentiality in the information collected for meeting ethical considerations needed for the study and the study intends fulfilling all the ethical requirements.

Conclusion: It is expected that the study will ascertain whether the current protocols employed for CT scanning are adequate or not and if not point the direction which the protocols should take for patient safety.Human beings at some time or another have had at least one episode of a headache during their lifetime. This makes headaches a common occurrence and the seriousness required in its evaluation is not often seen. This fact becomes clear in the lament of the World Health Organisation that “… both the public and the majority of healthcare professionals tend to perceive a headache as a minor or trivial complaint.

As a result, the physical, emotional, social and economic burdens of a headache are poorly acknowledged in comparison with those of other, less prevalent, neurological disorders” (Wenzel, R. et al. 2004).Headaches form the most common neurological symptom presented to general practitioners and neurologists in the United Kingdom. Analysis of patient data from 253 general practices in the United Kingdom during the period 1992 to 2000 provides an indication of the prevalence of headaches in the United Kingdom.
