The NDIS should not provide funding to address the physical manifestations of disability; instead it should focus on psychological and emotional support. People with disability need to be given material support in terms of Braille, wheelchairs, and other things that can help them to conduct their lives, rather than funding them. Funding can make the physically disabled to over rely on aids and fail to do something for their living; and will just increase the problems associated with disability rather than reducing them.

What the physically disabled people need is support to build their independence, not funding. Rather than funding them, they should be offered financial literacy training and other forms of motivations to enable them work on their own to earn a living (NDIS, 2014). Providing funding to address the physical manifestations of disability is only a short term solution which does not last for lifetime.
