Drug abusePart 1There are more than a few signs of drug abuse seen in students. This signs include both physical and behavioral that indicate drug use in is nearly all students that abuse drug. Each drug has its general indications that students are using drugs. The signs and symptoms that indicate students are on drugs include sudden change of behavior, careless about personal grooming, red eyes or glassy, and mood swings. If I suspect that one student is a drug abuser, the best thing I would do is advice them (Edelfield, Bruce, and Tracey Moosa 123).
Part 2 The relationship between substance use and family violence has been controversial issue over the years. The connection between families is not straightforward because drug abuse affects individuals, families and relationships in many complex ways. Drug abuse results to child abuse because children are not given the freedom to interact with their parents. The major change which may discourage abuse of substance in families is guidance and counseling, and family union (Hanson, Glen, Peter and Annette 143).
Part 3Adolescent stage is one of the complex stages in human life. There are several dangers when adolescents are exposed to drug abuse because they can cause harm to themselves. For instance, they may involve in sex and other acts that can pose danger to their lives. Part 4 Absorption is the passageway of alcohol into the blood. Distribution is the temporary placement of alcohol into various body tissues. Conversely, metabolism is the process whereby enzyme systems in the body change drugs into safer molecules which can then be excreted by a variety of routes of removal (Edelfield, Bruce, and Tracey Moosa 94).
Part 5 In the first face, mind alteration chemicals often perceive as either an attempt to increase one’s awareness and consciousness. Adolescence is the critical phase in the brain development that alters the brain functioning. The other phase is phase II reaction whereby the brain is altered by increased or extended abuse of substance. Part 6Based on the agent, the causes of addictions are very dangerous because they cause harm to the body organs. Generally, addiction can influence environment especially to individuals who are in colleges.
The effects of drug abuse are negative because they cause harm appropriate body organs such as the brain (Hanson, Glen, Peter and Annette 58).Part 7The experiment was an attempt to assist students to experiment and understand the interaction of biological, psychological and social processes of drug addiction. The eyeskubes show how individuals are addicted to drugs. The experiment ran for 48 consecutive hours. Preoccupation with the abused substance can seep into every waking hour. You may not be experiencing the intense withdrawal symptoms that keep getting their drug on the minds of addicts, but with the log we are trying to make you think about your drug every waking hour of the day.
