This has resulted in the creation of unions among the different continents to facilitate the creation of better drugs to reduce chronic illnesses. However, the most affected regions are sub-Saharan Africa and the less developed countries where most people cannot access proper medical care and lack proper sanitation.

This is further enhanced by poverty, lack of equipped hospitals, and even the unavailability of medical care in many regions (Breckon & Minelli, 2009). Health is thus affected differently in CHEs based on age, environmental factors, and prevention and control measures taken as opposed to other continents. For instance, hot weather facilitates the growth of pathogens, and thus the people on the equator and those in the hot states such as east and southern Africa experience malaria more than those in the north pole.

Still, proper ways of prevention and cure promote healthy living (King, 2000). Developed states provide health awareness and advanced technology for treatment with innovation, as opposed to poor states bringing out the differences in how health is affected in CHEs.The health transition model is particularly relevant and of utmost importance, in CHEs since it highlights the progress and the area of interest to the health department. The model shows the developments, achievements, interactions among sectors, and global entrances to research. It is based on these evolutions that analysis is done about regions that require attention, facilities, and support in global health affairs (Omran, 2001).
