Individuals should include foods rich in carbohydrates, vitamins, proteins and mineral salts. Such food constituents should be taken in the form of the original foods and not as pills unless otherwise.
Fourthly, some foods that are rich in fats are also crucial to the body. Some of them include those with Omega 3 fats called EPA (Bessems, Assema, Paulussen & Vries 2011). Foods rich in these nutrients reduce cardiovascular diseases, prevent dementia and improve mood. Generally, water is one of the most salient aspects of the healthy diet. Water will enable the digestion of food, and also aid in other metabolic activities. In most cases, a normal human being is recommended to drink eight glasses of water daily to maintain stability in the functioning of the body (Bessems, Assema, Paulussen & Vries 2011).
