Health promotion and prevention project for women As people live longer more concern is required for chronic illness since immunity to chronic illness cannot be developed (http://hpi.georgetown.edu/agingsociety/pdfs/chronic.pdf). It is a matter of great apprehension as the entire family is involved and associates have to change their lifestyles. People poor in income are more susceptible, most women of income range < $20,000 suffer with arthritis (21%) and hypertension (17%) as compared to higher >$50,000 income group (http://hpi.

georgetown.edu/agingsociety/pdfs/chronic.pdf). The main concern of our study is to develop a program paying priority to arthritis and to the emotionally impacted chronic illness; hypertension. Our program is based on the educational project, developed for Native American women in Washington; they teach us the ways and means to overcome depression which is proving to be the leading causes of all the chronic illnesses. A center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is another organization that is actively involved in protecting America’s health and safety.

It endorses various methods which can be implemented in our study to develop program to combat chronic illness in women for the next three years is Education about better way of living. Schools are the place where children are made to learn the ways and means of life. They not only educate to earn bread but also teach mannerism and how to behave in the society. Although families’ upbringing does matter but schools provide the environment for the young buds to grow and nurture.
