Additionally, the analysis will deal with what specifically is meant by being a “scholar-practitioner” within healthcare administration. Finally, key challenges as well as strengths will be discussed as a means to enumerate upon the means by which the professional can seek to provide a level of excellence within the field while being mindful of the assets they possess which can aid them in achieving their particular goals. Firstly, with respect to what it means to be a scholar-practitioner in health care administration, this is something that well set the individual apart from a high number of individuals that seek to work in other professions merely as a means to earn a salary.

Rather than performing the job within the confines of earning money and advancing one’s career, key and integral elements of self-sacrifice, attention to the needs of others, and a general level of compassion are necessitated for those seeking to engage in a career of healthcare administration (American College of Healthcare Executives 2012). Furthermore, seeking to generate one’s own results and adhere to a policy of claiming responsibility only for those products that the worker has individually contributed to is a key determinant in seeking to incorporate the ideas associated with academic integrity into the workplace (Association of University Programs in Health Administration 2012).

With regards to key strengths in writing, it is the belief of this student that one of these which is possessed is the ability to use a wide vocabulary and a broad range of sentence construction to engage the reader with key information so that they will not likely become bored by the mechanics of presentation. (Association of Hospital Chief Executives 2011) Similarly, with regards to an area for growth (or weakness), this student sometimes struggles with the ability to stay on topic and thoroughly address the needs of a given question prior to engaging in the next topic of discussion.

As such, a thorough attention to detail and creation of outlining strategies can doubtless help such an issue. With regard to key challenges of the master program, the first
