? Study of Human Anatomy Case Mrs. Jones at the moment is experiencing physical changes, where she cannot take care of herself in terms of cook for herself, do laundry and also do shopping for herself. This also includes walking where she occasionally falls. Thus, has physical incapacity hence requires help from the children. Elsie cannot make decisions that are concrete and rightful; rather she needs someone to make basic decisions for her. She also is unable to assimilate new information given to her due to memory loss. Socially, she is incapable because she cannot move around and associates with people outside her homestead, as it were before age crept. Emotionally, she does not want to leave her home, though her state of mind does not allow her to be alone (Knowles, 2011). Considering the activities that Elsie has been undertaking in the past, the development plan of Elsie can be seen. They entail her investment activities, which at present she is utilizing for her well being. The activities she is undertaking can also describe her development plan. Where currently she is not physically and emotionally active, the information on the status of the various items in her life is also necessary to determine her development plan (Smith, 2008). The information necessary includes; activities that she was undertaking in the past, this would help establish her level of activity in the past. The hospital reports would be necessary to evaluate the health situation of Elsie. This would help those taking care of her know her medical necessity for her well being. There should be an evaluation of current information that includes, her current medical records, as old people are prone to illnesses. This would help the children establish better methods of helping her. Her present information on the available finances would be necessary to enable the family to get the available money and help her financially. This helps to reduce the financial burden on the children especially those taking care of her. Future information is also necessary to estimate her future needs the information includes, the various insurance policies that she is part of and her medical trend. The medical records would be got from medical practitioners who were attending to Elsie in the past and at present. To obtain financial information concerning Elsie, the family would consort bankers to obtain the full bank statement. The house cleaner would help to know the physical state of Elsie because she is around her most of the time (Smith, 2008). The development issues available include change in the role, where due to loss of eyesight, there has been meal delivery at her place for two years. Elsie can no longer do laundry for herself; thus the daughter in law has to come occasionally and do laundry, due to inconveniences there is a person who does laundry. There has been a change in the role where, Elsie can no longer go to the bank to withdraw her own money; thus the daughter in law goes to the bank to get the money for her. There has been loss of role where, Elsie lost her husband two years earlier, thus has been staying alone since then though the daughter comes to accompany her often. There has been a reduction in social interaction. This is due to eccentric adjustments, which include loss of eyesight due to age, thus cannot interact well with the community. There is damage to self concept due to age in Elsie thus reducing social interactions. Elsie is aware of scarcity of her time to live. This causes her to feel that she has much to do, that is why she does not want to move from her own home and go to a home of old age people. Depression in the financial status is also a development issue, where the daughter discovers that the account, which had constant interest from her investments, was going low due to constant withdrawals by the sister in law who takes care of the mother. She is experiencing self actualization effects, where she accepts to go to a home for the old on the bases that she does not want to be a bother to anyone. This is a development that comes with age (Levinson, 2010). The fact that Elsie is blind makes her unable take care of herself, makes her life hard and thus putting her in danger because she is vulnerable to injuries. Living alone with her condition are a substantial risk and a treat to her life. It is difficult to take care of little issues like going to the washrooms due to her body weakness. This is a threat to her life because she may easily fall thus getting injuries or succumbing to the injuries. Another treat to Elsie is the fact that her bank account has discrepancies; this comes as a shock to the daughter because the mother has interest paying investments. Having little cash makes survival for her wanting because she cannot pay for her expenses, which include, paying the house cleaner; pay her bills, doing shopping as well as buying food. Thus, she cannot survive under these conditions. Without these basic needs that require money, she cannot feed herself hence may stuff or undergo depression. Another problem is the fact that she keeps on falling because she has become frail due to her age; thus she sustains injury. If Elsie happens to fall over a long distance, chances of survival are (Knowles, 2011). Case 2 The development plan can be got by looking at past records from doctors. This would help in giving a preview on the way Shane has been responding to various treatments. Trying to make a conversation would help learn on whether he can make efforts to learn how to speak. The way he dresses would imply whether the institution takes care of him. By talking to Shane, one would learn whether he is aggressive or not, questioning the administration would help understand his situation. Asking the administration on his behavior relating to motor would help establish the Shane’s' situation (Smith, 2008). Shane’s biological intelligence links to the epistemology in this case, where he cannot talk but can make signs hence one understands what he wants. He can also process information easily. He can walk and easily balance, interacts socially, and the rate of maturity is constant. Moral development entails, morals relation to age, thus the development of Shane would be seen from the way his morals are relating to his age. Psychologically, he can make decisions by himself; thus it is easy to understand his psychological level (Knowles, 2011). Shane requires personal care in some activities like dressing; thus people should dress Shane because they are the only revel age he has. He can walk and also understand writings and pictures, hence is would be suitable to take him to a movie, but they would need to keep him from shouting by soothing him to avoid irritation. He can understand basic information thus if given the right instructions he can construct a model plane easily (Boud, 2009). Though Shane gets aggressive, he can control this by limiting the number of people talking to him. He understands instructions given to him thus; with little teaching he can do things normally. Thus, working with Shane would be encouraging and helpful to him (Kidd, 2009). Under medical grounds, the law allows Shane to behave the way he does due to incapability’s. Thus, one should understand if he displays signs of abuse. Further, the law outlines that it is the family’s' should responsibility for the action that Shane does. Thus, the family can have a case to answer (Jarvis, 2009). Shane may lack self esteem during his development. He may also undergo depression when he sees others doing what he is unable to do. He may also find problems in dealing with people due to his aggressive nature (Hopson, 2008). A formal report should show the objective for doing research. The report should show the abstract which is the background of the report. A formal report should show the body. The body should be clear, and the terms in use should be free from any ambiguity. The body should also have the right index references on the paragraphs. Printing of a report should be done before presentation; this is to ensure the words are clear. The report should have a clear conclusion and summarization of the point under discussion. It is the recommendation of many organizations to include an index at the end. This is for referencing incase the users of the report encounters ambiguous terms. The language in use is substantial where there is a language recommendation from the users of the report.
