Some norms are too severe towards devastating ramification gender. It is more interesting to learn that, women in Saudi Arabia are totally not allowed to drive since that will stand against their ability. In the tradition of this country, women found driving could be put to death due to deviation from the country’s social norm. As times change, some societies have made the effort to change the typical social gender roles while other societies still strictly follow their cultures and old gender roles.

Based on this, diversity in gender roles and equity has been a matter of interest to different researchers and authors. Most of them have taken a keen interest in how the changing environments have changed the social norms towards enhancing equity in gender roles. Some have also carried out multi-culturalism studies to try to compare different social roles within particular societies. This particular paper is an analytical paper trying to interrogate on differences in gender roles and equity between China and Norway.

Society ideals as wells as culture play a crucial role in the determination of gender responsibilities and equity. According to Zhu (2014), this particular society is patriarchal in nature and as such adopts strict traditional laws that guide functionality in the society. While China is one of the countries that have a strong cultural context in terms of gender roles as well as equality, Norwegian roots its values from egalitarian ideals in the formulation of morals to guide this particular society.

In fact, Norway at the beginning of 20th century began formulation of fair radical regulations to highlight reforms to change this society completely.Undoubtedly, Norway has the best welfare society system across the world.
