Philosophy of Feminism Feminism theory is the extension of females into theoretical or philosophical dis itsmain aim is to understand the nature of gender inequality. This theory has become one of the major contemporary sociological theories that analyses women and men in the society more so the purpose of using that knowledge to better women’s lives. Mainly concerned with giving a voice implies that men and women should be equal economically and socially (Fraser, 67-90). There exist variant variation between women and men explained by looking at their brain. The Perelman school of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvanian carried out a research on the human brain where they did research to differentiate the woman brain from men brain. During their study, they found out that there was greater neural connectivity from front to back and within one hemisphere in males. This suggested that brains are structured to facilitate connectivity between perfection and coordination actions. On the other hand, among the females the wiring and connectivity goes between the left and right hemispheres they explained that females are able to communicate between the analytical and intuition. Men are better at learning and performing a single task at hand like cycling or having to navigate directions. On the contrary, women have superior memory and social cognition skills which make them more equipped for multitasking and creations and essay achieving of solutions that work for a group which can be called mentalist approach. Females can out performer males on attention, word and face memory while male perform better on spatial processing and motor speed in social cognition tests. Connectively, women mature first than men, through studies and research; it is established that most 17 year old females are able to function as adults while men of the same age are involved in childish activities. Men will never admit making a mistake while women will admit making mistakes; however, it is correct that a woman shall always have the last word in any argument while as anything a man says after that will become the next topic for the argument. A man can wear every article of clothing he owns before he does his laundry while women will always do laundry every couple of days. Though the world is changing on political matters, men are believed to love politics but will always forget to do political things like voting while women shall not be involved in political talks but shall be there in the voting queue to cast their votes to their favorite candidate. Women shall always have a list of what they want and shall walk in a shop to buy what they need while men shall only buy things because they are finished in the house or gone bad. This shows that men are far less organized in contract to their counterpart females. The perception and believe that men are superior to women this is mainly due to women’s development is still suppressed by cultural and religious believes. Additionally apart from the visible difference of an infant, the way to tell a boy from a girl, apart during infancy and childhood phases without making them embarrassed is to look at their clothing and haircut. However, during puberty, the change between boys and girls is more obvious. The muscle mass of men is estimated to be +/- 41% of his total body mass as opposed to the women’s +/- 35% of her total body mass under same training conditions. It is believed that a man’s muscles will develop with a 2% more than the woman’s muscles (Whipple 123- 200). The physiological differences like a 40% more blood volume in the body than women, 11% more red blood cells in the body than women and lastly 11% more hemoglobin in the body than women. On the cardio respiratory system of men is 39% bigger than the carbon respiratory system of women this makes women oxygen consumption to be 175 less than men. This difference makes men be able to resist disease better than women. It is proven that women are highly vulnerable to diseases than men looking at a hospital patient record one can find the truth since most of the patients are women. However, amazingly men are more subjected to early death as compared to women. In athletics, women are faced with more problems than men first their body configuration, men have broader shoulders than women who have broader hips than men, wider hips in women makes the muscles lose the efficiency of the muscle pull resulting to increased injury. Also, due to menstruation cycles women will experience blood loss during the first few days on the menstrual cycle making them less capable. However, wider hips of the women body provide a lower center of gravity and greater weight distribution towards tights and hips thus enjoying greater range of the joint action than men hence will perform well in athletics than require flexibility. In addition to that women due to lesser vascular and respiratory capacity of women, men are believed to do better in tiring and enduring events lasting up to 2 hours. Men are 50% stronger than women in brute strength especially on the upper body this makes mean better working people due to their diversity in workability. In harsh conditions, men have a greater ability to adapt and fight back as compared to women who are timid and afraid of changing. Women’s blood has more water than that of men and lesser red blood cells this makes women tire easily making them more prone to faint. This can be explained by using an example of working in British factories during war conditions where there was an increase from ten to twelve working hours. It was reported that accidents among women increased to 150% while there was no increase of accidents among men. To some of these differences which exist, women shall be discriminated and looked down upon by people whom they work with their bosses. Nevertheless other than being different in genitals and physical characteristics of women and men also differs, men are said to see well in vision and depth. They have a better vision on lighted environments; however, women have a better night vision with end light spectrum also their visual memory is much larger than that of men. Women are said to develop psychological stress faster than men during competition this stress can make them feel inadequate due to the brain pressure exposed to them. Also, stress also hinders the decision making ability of an individual and adaptability to harsh and more demanding condition this makes women less likely to be picked for different demanding jobs hence discrimination. The fact that women are more dependent on personal care than men makes them also de discriminated and be given low class jobs as the believe of their inability to handle complex demanding jobs is looked into. Due to women’s emotional patterns which vary from time to time during their menstrual cycle, they become difficult to work within a group than men; organizations need team work this makes women less appealing to the job. Women also can be categorized in terms of origin, race, class disability and also religion. When we take religion into consideration, we find that most religions that we pay tribute to find a woman as a weak part who cannot be involved in many decision or ruling. From the Christian bible, we find that there was no any woman who was involved actively in the leadership of both the political and religious leading. Secondly women were used as mere assistants and helpers who would help men upon request to help, which is common in the religious venue. Third world country’s women are less exposed to the out world as opposed to those from industrialized countries. Many responsibilities are left solely for men to handle especially the third world countries this can be attributed to bad cultural activities where a woman is supposed to be only a house wife with no job this makes her confined to the kitchen hence low exposure. Many people think it is unethical and against the culture when a woman stands for a political vacancy. This is seen during campaigns where women are humiliated with their private life being exposed this makes many of them shy away from such post in fear of the repercussion of the their making such decisions (Gatens 34-98). The saying that has always been used that women are their own enemies is also true. When a woman stand up and tend to fight for the general rights of other women, most of opposition shall come from fellow women. Many shall be heard saying that they cannot let a woman lead them due to incapability and emotional instability. Everybodys in a democratic nation it is expected to have more women leaders as compared to men though this does not happen due to lack of faithfulness among women where they do not trust fellow women. Skin color of an individual does not make them immune or vulnerable to anything; however, one cannot ignore that black women especially in Americas are more subjected to low pay as compared to white women. However, white women are more equipped with skills that enable them to maneuver well in the job place while black woman has the best physical characteristic to adapt more efficiently and take challenging work. Women through the formation of women groups have tried to fight for dominance and a larger percentage in the big table this has seen frustrations from fellow women and men who are prepared to silence them whenever they try to make their voice be heard. There are no rules that give women a better chance to get on the top as they claim for equality they are given the equality and the field is set for both with the saying may the best candidate win, which always make the woman lose. According to Nancy Fraser, woman like men also have the ability to take part in any duty provided as they are of more equal person like men. Women can also take part in global economic and political forums to raise the strands of the world economy (Butler 4-34). There is no significant difference between men and women that should be the basis for discrimination in the society where women are discriminated. Systems should be put in a place where a person is viewed as a person, not according to the gender he/she comes from. Work Cited Butler Judith.
