Reading Response The reformists were of the idea that social order was the most important thing to do. The reformists wished to live in a community that embraces equality and the people eliminate practices that discriminate against women. The revolutionists did not want to alter the current system. Their main intention of the revolutionists was to bring an end to sexism and patriarchy. One can end sexism and patriarchy by studying social movements and organizing experiences led by women and gender oppressed people.

It will make the people recommit to making feminism central in their lives. The commitment will eradicate patriarchal domination in the society. The best example of obtaining gender equality in the current social system and culture is to understand the boundaries between male and female. With such in place, there will be less scenarios of gender inequality. Work CitedHooks, Bell. Feminist politics. 2000.Print
