This sort of encounter, once ‘the boys’ and ‘the girls’ become identified as different and rivalling groups, drew the attention of the researcher; it appeared like the foundation of their gender relations. The researcher eventually realises that the instances when boys and girls intermingle in casual and non-gender defined manners are as well important, even though, and this allows reflection, it is more complicated to examine and discuss about the casual instances within the concept of ‘gender.’ Gender is frequently associated exclusively with two-fold variation, yet, gender grows and fades in the organisation and representation of life in a group, and that change requires close analysis. This paper analyses the experiences of boys and girls of diverse circumstances of ‘united’ and ‘divided.’ It examines the manners in which boys and girls intermingle to construct, and at other instances to eliminate, gender-based boundaries, or an idea of the ‘boys’ and the ‘girls’ as divided and conflicting sides. It as well investigates the pull of gender-defined occasions for observers, for contributors, and in the dimensions of memory.
