A . (a) Horizontal business process orientation is to support the end to end delivery of functionality. The core of the orientation is to act differently from the aspect that is the core of the business. This helps in maximizing the revenue evaluates the future of the business. This orientation helps in increasing presence in the newer areas and thus helps in increasing turnover to aid vertical growth. In this expansion, the vertical growth will be proportionate to horizontal growth and the business never suffers from extremes of the increasing business and sales. In a different aspect of this orientation, the expansion creates a new section of the company beyond the core activity.

(b) The first level managers should be well versed in management skills. They should plan according to the available workforce and facilities. They must convey the needs and excesses to their seniors from time to time.
