This paper analyses the strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats that it undergoes in its business operations. Its strengths lie in its business structure and strategies in the Qatar environment. It has a strong share capital and market capitalization that enables it to adjust its business structure to the financial market (UDC, 2015).

It is currently developing an international real estate development project that enhances its position as a first-choice private sector joint business enterprise partner for global investors in Qatar. Its weaknesses in the real estate market include limited land supply, high prices, and intensified demand from Financial Service sector clients. There is congestion in the access of properties owing to ongoing infrastructure activities. In addition, the concentration of several businesses around downturn area creates uncertainties in the successful growth of periphery areas.

Another weakness results from the uprising of real estate activities within the region, which reduces foreign direct investment (Al Asmakh Real Estate Development, 2012). Their opportunity lies on potential customers and suppliers, and the likelihood of potential investments and acquisition targets. There are likely investment opportunities both at home and out of the country. It focuses on new investments and partnerships to expand its diversified portfolio of excellent businesses (UDC, 2015).

In addition, the inflow of expatriates in the country will provide the necessary labor and expertise in the real estate sector. Qatari citizens are increasing in wealth as well, and it means an increase in purchasing power of commodities in the real estate market. Its threats include competition, global crises, and technology. The recent financial downturn had a significant effect in the market because it puts the company under pressure of market forces that shape demand and supply, for example, of houses.

In addition, the area is a potential war zone because of the animosity and tensions that exist between countries in the Middle East (Al Asmakh Real Estate Development, 2012).
